The reason Ive made a post on the matter is purely down to MaxH's attitude towards the whole situation. Yes it is his server and yes he can do as he wishes but the guy is 30 odd years old? Id be ok with it if he were younger but honestly at this age you'd think you've learnt abit in your life to know how to deal with situations?

The story is as follows (in short)
A user by the name of Tiger something or another wanted money from a fellow team mate of mine, i disagreed (right or wrong I'm not sure) and told him not to pay him. The user by the name of Tiger then started hurling insults at me along the lines of 'f-ing bitch' and 'stfu its not my concern'. So I told him not to speak to me like that because its unacceptable.
Soon to follow MaxH pointed out that I shouldn't tell everyone how to run 'our' server (Whatever that meant?) And that If I didn't 'stfu' id see a ban coming my way shortly.
I only questioned the fact that he refused to deal with Tiger and solely focused on me with the intention of banning me. Very biased might I add, but o well I'm not at loss.
I feel ashamed that Ive even posted this to be completly honest, I now feel petty but very annoyed at the same time o well like i said not my loss

Since I've been there I've seen nothing but trouble among users and constant squabbling over really petty stuff. And today to top it off I think I received a ban from MaxH, the reason being I wasn't happy with another user calling me a f-ing bitch for the whole world to read.
I did however not swear or become aggressive in anyway but perhaps became a little pushy when i started to question MaxH's administration skills on the server. Needless to say I was told i was 'out of here' and did the deed myself and jumped ship.
It feels alot like many of the drift servers or Cops n Robber servers, where if you're not very well known among that part of the community your opinion is virtually worthless and you're treated with no respect what so ever.

You're not exactly making yourself the most popular cat in town with that sort of attitude. And with someone of your age I did expect better to be honest.

This is very odd, it seems on a whole alot of people generally are having issues with LFS and connectivity. No one has a real reason for it or any sort of fix (because its vastly unknown) but there is obviously problem involved here.
Perhaps your ISP's are cracking down on illegal p2p activity and see LFS being an illegal tool to do so? Although with the amount of traffic thats passed through LFS it seems highly unlikely they'd kill it off.
My only guess is that you're probably having some sort of major lag spike along the way to the LFS servers and it just die's because its waiting around too long. This is why you can some times list games and then try to join but not receive messages, or once successfully connected it drops dead.
I havent suggested this to you yet but id recommend running a tracert and see if you have any anomalies along the way.
tracert master.liveforspeed.net > C:\trace.txt (Do this in a command prompt window - it wont do anything in prompt just go check the text file after)
Then post your results from trace.txt here for everyone to look at

Ive spoken to Victor about this and it seems that its probably unrelated to my inital thoughts of the master server being overwhelmed with traffic. However I found out today that the master server is a home hosted box Not that its a useless idea or anything, but given the fact LFS is growing I hear they're going to go get a proper proper server somewhere where other proper servers hang out.

Someone suggested making a batch file todo the work for you, all you need is the following code todo it for you.
attrib -r *.set - This removes the read only attribute from the files.
attrib +r *.set - This will mark all the files as read only.
To create a batch file simply open Notepad enter one of those lines of code, then save it accordingly i.e: readonly[on].bat or readonly[off].bat
Remember to change the extension of the text file from .TXT to .BAT!
O and remember to place the batch files within your Settings folder when you go to run them, you can create a shortcut after or just add the paths in the code itself!

Im sick of slower drivers who know they're going to get overtaken and insist on pulling over into your lane to get you to back off.
Blue flag or not they feel its their god given right todo so, and if by any luck you do get past them be sure to keep a good eye out on the next corner because they'll attack you like no mother.
Join a well populated server and even if you're the most careful and forgiving driver you'll get to a point where you really dont care what happens to the slower driver.
Still I enjoying passing people where its really difficult todo so, and I try to make it look good! There's no fun in being overtaken, but I like to put on a show

Im happy with the current look of the cars but i still wouldnt mind them having some form of face lift.
I think what would really give the game a new lease of life with minimal work and effort would be a nice fresh set of wheels for all the cars. Most of the current sets of wheels look awful, straight out of a lego box imo

Yeah i can agree with Victor on this one, i was issued a few emails (two to be precise) about the amount of ban's my username was recieving online. Turns out my younger brother was running riot with my LFS account and i had no clue untill i checked my inbox.
He's either a wrecker or people just dislike you for some reason and vote ban you alot *shrugs* Time to change whatever it is you're doing online to upset all those people!

MINICOOPER120 have you tried adjust your hardware sound acceleration within Windows? Lowering it might help with it, but i cant be certain but defo worth a try.

No what we really need for HARDCORE, is a dash to your car where you have to press the brake pedal and the accelerator in the correct order to propel your blokey to get into his motor. Once in the motor you need to unlock the cars steering lock (if its a road car) then fire it up!

I think your website looks ugly though, So ive taken an old layout and just added some images from LFS and your team name. I had nothing to work on so its nothing special, but its probably a little cleaner then what you currently have but its basically only a header and footer

Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Display -> Settings -> Advanced -> Trouble shooting -> And turn that baby full blast!

Id like to point out that I myself have been experiencing problems with the LFS master server lately. Just last Saturday i had to attend a league race and the master server was down just as i needed to get on!
I would not rule out your ISP as turd and useless but I'm with NTL and never have issues with them and seem to have a few troubles lately with the master server.
Wireless has its problems too so i suggest you take a look into it a little further. I dont really know much about it but I hear most of the problems are beacuse of the signal fluctuating. Some guy had here made a video tutorial on how to boost your wireless with a simple kitchen mod. Perhaps you should give it a test?
