I wouldn't bother changing the drive train unless you only want to go fast in a straight line. Each time you change it LFS automagically defaults it to Viscous which sucks, and although you select locked or lsd it still uses the viscous pack (or that's my conclusion).

If you do find such a site Byku please post back here and let me know.. I've got my hands on GTR2 and I'm looking to knock together a RUF CTR 'Yellowbird' and wanted all the specs I could find on it.

The LX8 was only difficult to drive due the the shoddy tyre simulation in that patch, now with the updated tyres and the way LFS runs today, I'm sure the LX8 would be a great addition to the game. I think the only reason it hasn't been added yet (or ever) is because it has no rival or anything for it to go against.

I still have the copy of 0.5F on my server downstairs but there really isn't much point handing it out, firstly I don't think it unlocks any more and secondly its really awful to drive (and I love the LX6) .

Is that all you can bring to this? That it would 'probably' be over 100 degrees?

What if the tyre was 20 degrees to begin with? What if the track temperature is even colder? Will the tyre still heat up over 100 degrees on the first 'drift' or will it be less?

Personally I think the tyre heats are OK in my opinion, But I have little technical knowledge to actually confirm this, they do however just 'feel' right to me.

I recommend a YZF426/450 (But only cause I've had em :razz - Also get in contact with Nakkitartsani cause he rides and happens to live in Finland.

The XRR is like a very sharp fine knife, its deadly if you find someone who can wield it properly, but if you're inexperienced a big sledgehammer that goes by the name of 'FZR' will come along and stomp you.

The FZR is defiantly the easier car to drive, it requires less input to keep it balanced in corner entry and little on exit.

I don't drive the FXR. :rolleyes:

Your mum hates dogs, and by the looks of things you're probably no older then 15, my advice to you would be to mature a little or think about getting a cat. Make sure your pedals are on a separate axis and not combined.

Your differential settings sound and look a little weird, I'm sure you're losing a lot of time each lap because of it.


Good race though, although you could of probably taken him a lap sooner if you had only waited a little longer.

Yeah it doesn't want to load for me at all, before it loaded the frames (although no content in them) and now it just doesn't display anything.

I guess ill have to look elsewhere for some driving fun

Our skinner is not around for the race and not even online due to problems with his line.
But we will somehow manage it to put the logos on the car, like we are forced to, to not get the DT.

I wished you admins would spent more time in the preparation of the race itself, instead of spending time on such things.
I hope the tracker will be ready in time for this race and someone is there to admin it, so the race can start at the right time and not hours later.

Well now that Joona can't make the race, would there be any objections for me running in it? I need some practice before the next round of the Masters of Endurance, and this is the only organized and skilled event until the 5th.
