I'm not 100% sure what you're saying but I have something to answer with.
There are few guys within our community who are exceptionally fast and are currently team less (I won't name them!) that would make ideal signings for Mercury Racing or any other team looking for fast pilots, but they lack certain characteristics and pretty much suck in a team setting.
So talent/pace alone really won't do much for you if you're an idiot who generally disregards anyone within the team and wishes to go loan ranger stylie.
Joining a team isn't the be all and end all but some people are giving the kid a rough time for nothing, and for what? Because he switched a team now and then? Or that he duped Mercury and others with his leet-skeet beginner skills?
I think any team who takes 5 minutes to watch him drive can see he has real potential and just needs a little more work on some minor things, I think any team looking to go for the MoE could probably use this guy and would be lucky to get someone who's willing to commit and has ample talent to make stuff happen.
Matt, my advice would be to take it easy for now and work on your driving a bit more and not worry about this team stuff. Once you're up to spec people will take notice and you won't need to ask for peoples attention, you'll just get it.
Sidenote : Not many people seem to complain about drifters team jumping or teams folding within a week, since when has it been such an issue with drivers?

IIRC I remember seeing something similar to this on German TV one evening, some small tuning company knocked out a chip that gave this Golf Diesel more then double the power it had initially. I found it hard to believe until I thought it through for a moment and the only reasonable explanation would be, why develop multiple engines when you can just offer the same with less power?
Everyone gets the same car just with more or less the same gadgets and the only difference is the performance in the engine, nothings changed but they rake in more money. Its no real performance gain, but a more a performance release/unlock.

Work on your braking zones and learn how to modulate the throttle when you need to unlock the rear wheels, learn this and you'll be faster and then people will start to come running.

Criticism : That camera work in the beginning, you know, the wobbly drunk monkey stuff you do, well its got to go in my opinion. It seems unprofessional with the rest of the flick being awesome, so yeah that's my only snag.

Mercury Racing is just the same as it was and a stunt like this won't change anything within the team, however, it just goes to show how much people are willing to do/or spend to get into our team.
A princely sum of £24 seems about right.

I wouldn't bother with a 125 myself, but if I had to choose it would definitely be a MX styled bike over any sort of 'street super bike copy'.
One of the fastest 125s I've ever ridden was a Aprilia RX125 (Not the new junk) but the later ones, I friend of mine had one imported from Italy and the thing did about 115mph. Another fast 125 I had when I was a kid was a Kawasaki KDX 125, this was probably another one of the faster 125s I've ridden. I remember bombing down a field clocking about 85mph, and the thing was good for 90-100mph on the road (Even though it was like 10 years old at the time).

My xbox is currently running Gentoox and I use it to play PGR2 every now and then, other then that I barely use it. I've done about 6 or 7 xbox chip installs and I've used both the Xecuter 2.3 + 2.6 and both have worked perfectly.
If you don't want to sign up to xbox live there are alternatives available to gaming online (XLINK and XBConnect) to name a few.

Just managed a 51.162 - Not super fast, but I think 50.8X is doable I just need to bring my 1st sector times back down.

I think if this game develops well then I'm definitely going to buy it, an xbox pad seems to suit it well and it runs smoothly on my old machine!
