No one's afraid we just don't need people who refuse to follow the system that's been in place for years, or people who fail to integrate into society properly. We don't want people to setup sub cities within cities and we don't want communities that exclude the people that try to fit in.
You're looking at 'nationalism' in the wrong light, stop looking at everything in such a political sense it can't be good for you. The way I see it is like anything, people want to belong to a group and no one wants to be an outcast. Belonging to a nation is just a bigger group you wish to belong to, and with such you carry all the positive and negative that comes from being in that group. You obviously only want to see nationalism as a means of conflict, but I guess that's because you like to put your political correctness jargon on just about anything.
Oh give it a rest you clown, in less then two posts you've already boxed into the 'racist nazi' container probably because I have a German flag beside my name, right?
Its not the colour of my skin but the colour of my flag, you racist pig!
I'm sorry that my patronising comments offend you but you've got to admit, you don't half talk a load of bull squat.
Let all the Poles into the UK because their elders helped the RAF!!
Oh and don't forget those poor Africans that we enslaved 400 years ago, we should be feeling guilty for those too. Except that both you and I were never around during those times, but somehow we must repay the debt.
Is it cause I is white? <- I used a lowercase W incase xaotik is about.
Edit: I also think BlueFlames general message was, Why have nationalities if you're labelled a nazi for having pride in what nation you originate from. I think..? Do away with passports and such and all become ONE!
Big mean daddy Kev steps in and makes mince meat out of BlueFlame, then all the little rats come in and finish him off.
Yeah we - me - you - and everyone alive today must feel terrible for the horrible way those poor guys and girls were treated all those years ago. We - me - you went to Africa in our boats and forced them into shackles and shipped them over to England to work for us. And now we have to feel bad and let them do as they wish because we - me - you were so mean to them, except you ignore the fact that a lot of these black slaves were SOLD OFF by their OWN FAMILIES for food but who cares about any of that stuff.
Kev stop trying so hard and BlueFlame I suggest you watch what you say in future cause it will land you in deep sheeet.
Nah, you're a good racer when you beat almost everyone, pretty much everywhere, virtually all the time.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCyWDgzEAL8 - This video proves drifting requires little or no skill at all, this kid drifts better then most of the people I've seen on LFS!
Id say its about time he gets a ban if you ask me as this isn't the first time he started wrecking people, I've seen a replay of him wrecking in the UFR at AS Club I think it was a while ago.
I think his last excuse was 'I'm only 13' He's now 14 so he deserves a ban
M3 Challenge is no way near as bad as you make it out to be, the graphics are 10x that of LFS the handling is different but I wouldn't say its all that far off and yes the FF is utter shit. Perhaps if you spent more then 30 seconds playing it you might come to enjoy it, I found it pretty fun although its nothing to scream and shout about.
Driving a brand new M3 round a real track was great, it sounded cool and its modelled very good so I don't see why anyone wouldn't even consider downloading it. Its free and in some aspects it outclasses LFS no sweat, plus variety is good as it gives you a fresh look on what others are doing and what your favourite product isn't.
No the rev counter isn't 'good enough' for me to determine my speed, I wouldn't look at the speedometer if the revving engine gave me the information I want would I now?
You're obviously part of the majority that finds it distracting, but I find it useful as do many others in my team. Plus I never know if the sector I'm driving is good until the timer tells me it's good, just feeling fast doesn't ultimately make you fast but I'm sure you already knew that.
I wouldn't agree to that really as knowing your speed down a straight is pretty vital if you ask me, if you're not doing what you think you should be doing you'll know that the last exit wasn't as fast as it could be. A few M/Kph down a straight might not seem to matter when you're fighting for 2/3 seconds but when you get down to tenths and such, every extra bit of speed you carry on the straights makes a world of difference.
+1 to the idea if its an option but I still rely on the speedo when I'm racing in every car I drive, so I don't want it to be forced or have a massive blanker plate where the speedo should be (I use analogue) so no Digi stuff!
Yeah you'll be able to spot a cheater a mile off as I don't think there's any subtle way to pull this off, if you find others getting a few more KMH on the straights this is probably due to them getting a better exit.
Yeah a few of us Mercury newbs have been playing it and Id say its pretty bloody good. I'm no fan of ISI type simulators cause they all feel totally turd but this doesn't feel half bad, I think my best time on GP so far is a 2.12.2XX - Barros is close to knocking the 2.11's.
The psychics are ok - It seems to want to understeer where you expect it to over steer and vice versa, other then that you can't moan for a freebie! Lets hope they decide to give away a brand new M3 for the competition winner
1) He is doing something 'illegal' - Even if he said he is using his friends account he has had to unlock it, and you can only do such a thing when you and the original owner are on LAN (Legally). The guy lives in Lithuania and his 'friend' lives in Canada, what do you think the chances are they are next door neighbours?
2) You're absolutely right its none of our business, but he's come to the official forum flaunting it which then makes it public business. It doesn't make a sod all difference to me or anyone else that he is using the crack, but its fun either way seeing him getting banned.
Ultimately the only real prick around here is you!
We have a bit of a problem around here with 'Forum teams' which spring up and die within about 48 hours, if however you wish to create a proper team with intentions of surviving more then 2 days check out www.lfsworld.net - I think there's a team register function on the site somewhere but I'm not certain, then just go and post in the established teams thread I guess?
I have most of the tweak values for most of the cars on a small text file on my drive, I have a German guy helping me find more (Robbi) and the German community in general. But as of late I've not recieved any emails from him with new stuff so Ill have to wait or do some myself, however once I've gathered all the digits and such it won't take long to release a newer version.
I gave some of the values to Phlos who said he was going to knock something together, but I have a sneaky feeling he wants money for it which is a no no
What are you 12 or something? Trophy for fair play?
From all the coverage I had the opportunity to watch last year all I could see was respect and fair play on track and nothing but, so what you're referring to I don't know.
No one has posted against having multi-class racing, I myself just don't agree on removing teams from the GT1 class to fill the dead GT2 class. Looking at the polls it seems people would agree that it would be the right step to take and help MoE expand, however the entry list doesn't really reflect the general consensus of the initial poll.
Overall I guess people just haven't had enough time to really decide which class they'd rather enter, I'm pretty sure this is down to the fact that the restrictions haven't been fully tested and people aren't so sure which is the better car. Everything seems a little rushed to me and people are making irrational decisions just to keep themselves happy, which can only lead to more trouble later down the line. I'm almost certain if there were more teams signed up to the GT2 class and a much larger field overall for both classes, no one would have anything to nag about or even disagree on "The more the merrier" fits here.
Granted the idea was to introduce multi-class racing into the MoE but as it stands we have 24 cars in the GT1 class, I think a few posts prior to this you mentioned limiting the GT1 class to 20 cars and Keiichi suggested 17. Obviously this would mean a few teams would be forced to move to the GT2 class or not drive at all, so I'm just curious to know what the final outcome will be regarding the amount of GT1 teams being allowed to race.
It would be unfair to remove any teams from the race purely because they selected a GT1 to fill the space for the GT2 class, and with the results from the poll showing the majority of people voted for single class racing - I'm sure a few people would be a little ticked off.
I guess he meant limit entries but what he put down in words read completely different. However I think its a little too late now to start limiting entries to GT1 because there are not enough GT2 entries, I assume this wont be happening at such a late stage?
