You wont encounter any problems, I had it running on my computer for a while and the only problems I had were getting RAID drivers working 
Battlefield 2 - Redudant Copy
Just wondering if anyone had a copy of Battlefield 2 which they no longer wish to keep. Ive lost my case which contained the CD key and I'm left with only my old online account, I'll probably just go and buy a new copy but I thought id ask here first

There's really no point attacking a WR unless you're certain you can take it, I only have a handful but I knew I could take them all.
Getting a setup right is crucial just don't expect to find one off the shelf that will knock 2 seconds off the WR, cause it ain't gonna happen. You need to get a good base and fine tweak it to suit your driving style, and ultimately to get the best out of the car on that particular track. So if you have no idea how to tweak setups I suggest you learn this bit first, or atleast the basics.
Next thing you have to do is start attacking the track, thing is no one can really tell you how to do this, you just gotta do it. Watch the current WR replay and see where you can improve, find out where he/she is slower and basically when you can stomp the power quicker then the previous person. Once you've found a few slow spots in the WR, go back to the track and practice those certain corners to get them perfect. These are the area's where you make the time, assuming the rest of the track is flawless and you cant improve on it which is never really the case.
And finally don't expect it to come right away, it probably wont cause you probably suck big time
PS : Split times are your worst enemy, I found that hitting SHIFT + F and just concentrating on my driving is when I'm fastest.
And always remember to take a dump before you attempt a WR, I hear once you get a WR for the first time your bowels go all funny and you start crapping uncontrollably.

I'm not sure if the LFS Scripting environment allows you to change the button control rate, but Id make a small script that loads when I press a certain button to change it.
Go take a look in the LFS documentation on the matter.

There is a very very easy way to overcome your problem, except I don't know if id get in trouble with Mr. Scawen for sharing how to-do it.
Like herki mentioned it would enable crackers to play online with S2 but you have an S2 licence, so

You only see this sort of drama in the drifting scene within LFS, all this bickering and crap.
If any of you drifters wish to disagree then by all means do so and make it public so I can take the shame.
I wouldn't say everyone posts abuse and negative comments, but after so many 'teams' posting here and joining another 'team' people just get sick of it.
More then half the teams that pop-up only exist to carry a tag, its like its some sort of fashion statement and only lasts a few days. No one has a problem with someone who really sets out to make a team and really sticks to it, take for example a guy named shaun he started a team called Team Zoom.
This fella has stuck with this same team since he announced it to the LFS world even though I'm sorry to say he doesn't have the members he really deserves.
Then you get some off beat demo racer who decides to create his new drift clan, only to join another team the following day because he didn't have 50 members in the first 10 minutes. So some comments may come across as harsh or abusive but if you've seen it 100 times then there's a good chance it will happen again, and we all know respect is earned not dished out with a proleet clan/team tag.

I kinda like the idea really, its not really an improvement to the game as such but it adds to the realism. You could also heat your tyres up a little on the way too!
Perhaps the way todo it is, someone does /restart - to begin the race, then you all have X amount of time to get back to the grid from leaving the pits, whoever fails to get back to grid gets bumped to the back of the grid for wasting time!

As for people not apologizing when they've caused an accident, I don't really care for it any more but that's not to say it doesn't happen. I remember not long ago being called a stupid noob from a guy with less then 5000 miles for overtaking on the outside of oval and him driving up into me.
But thats not to say all beginners are misguided and have no idea what they are doing, we all start from ground zero and some of us (not me) have a clean reputation so the LFS community cant be all that bad at welcoming new drivers can it?
