I'm just glad that most the good sets can be found at Inferno's website... many of which I use as a base for the ones I use. Comes in very handy.

Rumiko: How's that, better? Her name is Rikku from Final Fantasy X & X-2

Hmm, maybe your current drivers for your gf card don't like S2

Does it do the above with softer suspension settings?

Actually I think what your talking about happens with soft and hard suspension in LFS... just remembering my GPL days and it was damn impressive how the suspension in that title was simulated.

hehe, if you want more tracks then get a S2 license! Hundreds more to enjoy, and if you think the demo cars are nice, wait till you drive the S2 ones!!

I don't think the demo will be given anymore tracks. So S1 or S2 license is the best option if you want more. Also, a Bathurst or Nurb would be brillant in LFS - the two tracks I also want in it. I believe, although not confirmed , that once S3 has been completed (many moons from now) track and car editors will be released.. so, until that day, Bathurst will have to wait.

There must be some form of body aerodynamics in LFS, Example; the UF 1000 in topless form is about 5k's slower than it's heavier roofed version. I don't think damage has any effect though.

I've seen our local V8 Supercars get on two wheels and flip often enough to think what LFS does is realistic

For those who don't know about the Aussie Supercars, think of them as a 4 door XRR but with 650 - 700hp V8 engines and no turbo.

I think you can delete the sound file.. that could help.

Edit: Don't ask me where or which file it is

I've seen that before (and worse unfortunately), certainly not something appropriate for here and should be removed.

Finding it amusing is somewhat distrubing, do people really put so little value in others lives? Funny if the situation was reversed...

I believe your right ayrton, from memory, I think he did only suffer broken legs.

On Topic:

@ inCogNito: Oh yeah I remember now. Those reasons I stated are what some people believed to be the real ones

XFR isn't the only car that flips often... XRR has come close countless times for me, usually when Scottie is nearby and I am tring to pass him through a turn.. bastard!!

Lucky for me I manage to catch it most times.

That sucks, nothing more frustrating than not having a decent setup! Feel free to ask for a setup from me, most likely I'll be sending a slightly modified setup from http://setupfield.teaminferno.hu/

It was canned and replaced by the UF GTR. In a nutshell, it was declared to difficult to drive and there were already to many RWD cars added to S2 (as if!!). Personally I would have loved to have the chance to decide that for myself - I wanted that car more than anything in S2, from the moment I saw it's first screenie.

Who could not love trying to tame a topless light-weight vehicle, V8 powered, no downforce, and with fat slicks??

This is the thread about it in the old RSC LFS forum

ARGH Link not working!!.. ok ignore, it's fine now.

Sometimes when racing it can be very distracting to SS, so maybe another reason for being ignored is becuase the driver is also concentrating on finishing first (or waiting for a straight). I know I've done that numerous times, but normally remember to SS once finished racing.

Actually, S1 in it's first days I found to be very bad for getting setups off people. In S2 I've personally noticed a lot more setup swapping.

KITT had something similar as well, although it was called Turbo Boost. Turbo Boost is so much better than "Push-to-pass" or "PowerBoost" or "Power to Pass" as it allows your car to launch over and in front of your opponents! You could pass almost anywhere with ease!! (I would advise using it mostly on straights though!)

Oh, it has to be real as it was on TV and KITT rules... why would KITT lie to us??

I had this the other night as well, but stupid me pitted before taking a screenie

LX6 looks cool without front guards... I noticed your car has no roof, mine was topless too. Maybe it's a glitch when it loads up the roofless version or something.

 Just remembered I saved the replay.. lol..

When I first joined the car was ok, then I pitted and returned and the guards were missing. Pitted again and they returned. (Around the 5min to go mark in qualify it happens)
