It wasn't a stupid decision. It was explained some time ago that mod support wouldn't be made available until the engine was completely finished so that mods wouldn't need to be rebuilt every time a new patch was released.
Case in point: The people that come here looking for installs of version whatever so they can continue using their mods.
The other problem with not releasing the accelerator is the loss of cylinder compression that occurs when the engine is redlined. It's a tiny amount each time, and not so important on a hotlap, but over the course of a race it will start to add 10ths of seconds to your acceleration performance and make it harder to reach your maximum speed.
S1 will give you the XRT - the car most commonly used for drifting - and also access to the Autocross area and the extended Blackwood industrial area, and the infinite possibilities afforded by the layout function.
It won't give you access to the FZ50 (another fun drifting car) or the supremely extensive Westhill automotive playground.
But as Scawen says, there's nothing to stop you upgrading to S2 at a later date.
Negotiations on this subject closed some time ago, the result being that Brazilians now pay half of what citizens of other countries normally pay for an LFS license.
There is also a Brazilian reseller that specialises in local payment options for your convenience, as mentioned above.
To be honest though, looking at your stats, you haven't even scratched the surface of what the demo has to offer.
That would be fun, but I'm not sure if they could do that automatically. Each individual server would need its config files edited to allow more connections...
It's tragic, yes, but it was Ward's own stupid fault - you don't run into the middle of a track, especially on the exit of a corner, at night, wearing black, in the middle of a race to abuse another driver over an accident that you yourself caused.
Looks like awesome fun - reminds me of a dune-sea offroad track. Although, if I might make a small suggestion? There are a few corners where I can see opportunities for literally dive-bombing other cars
A vertical block of some sort on the inside of the slower corners would prevent this from happening - unless using the banking on the inside is part of the experience, in which case ignore me
The way to do it would be to sidestep Airio and run Nodejs to connect to the same UDP stream using something like dgram, which you can do from your own web-server.
You can can then pull the applicable data from the UDP packets and use a React server front-end framework to display a user interface and the data, or you can run an express server and socket.io using vue.js or Angular to render the live socket.io data for the front-end.
All of these things are npm packages...
Note: This has all been relayed from my workmate, who knows way more about this stuff than me, so while I can't give you more detail than this, it does sound like what you want to do is totally plausible
If you've unlocked LFS 3 times and have no more unlocks for this week, you'll need to contact the devs at https://www.lfs.net/mailus
LFS will automatically give you an extra spare unlock once a week (every friday morning), up to a maximum of having 2 spare unlocks available. The number of unlocks you have left can be found on your status page.
