Will be interesting to see the new tyre model applied to the Mazda in 3 weeks when the next update comes. I'm hoping the Corvette comes too along with the Indy.
I really enjoy driving the Mazda, especially now I managed my first win on ViR Grand West ---- mainly because the majority of the field crashed
Just managed a 3rd in the Mazda at Road Atlanta. Man, that track is a laugh with those cars but pretty intense! How the heck are the top people doing consistent 1.17's!!!!
nice rant..... totally agree on the value. I just hope that with Rockingham coming that all the other current tracks are updated too to reflect tarmac with bumps. If not, Rockingham will make the other's feel even smoother than they currently feel.....
It's been worth the cash by far so I can't wait for Rockingham as the first track with a more "real feel" tarmac.... so S3 it is
With that in mind Scawen, will it make life easier to redevelop the existing tracks having the rockingham track laser scanned and use that data to redo the tarmac for the existing tracks..?
t
hat's quite a lot.... I have to say after driving a night race on rFactor, it can be good fun. I think South City though, would look fantastic at night, especially if shop lights could be on and bright
I couldn't disagree more with you, sadly. Remember, it's a game in development, purely at alpha stage and not complete. You're buying in to the game as is to help its creation and completion. If it was ready for sale and not alpha or beta, that would be a different case!!
I still think its a wicked game and well worth the money for S2. I just think if you sell something then its not alpha really!
Simple, I'd like to give the dev's £12 for S3 whenever it's ready
George, it's really worth buying the S2 now. You might not get Rockingham yet but what you do get is well worth it! It's the best value game I have bought!
I can say what I want actually.... besides, it was mentioned indirectly, as I said above. When it was, I did some homework to read between the lines and yes, I got the info I wanted as a result.....
As Scawen said, any update will come when they are ready and not before and any info will contain what they want to put out.
see it this way... at least with one laser scanned track, hopefully all the current tracks can now be overhauled so the tarmac isn't smooth using the data from the laser surface.
