You go hard on the street, you're a flippin moron. I mean, ya painted your car dark camo to make it less visible to cops @ night. That speaks heaps in itself.
Ahh Ok, I knew I'd read of a Peugeot switch. Also I agree.. both that the older the Mini the better/the new ones suck, and that Chrysler's got minimal wins post '71.
The D2 sounds like a fun project all the way around!
Yeah it is. (Chrysler that is) According to a BMW tech friend awhile back, it's just the block. FWIW I wasn't knocking it, was just wondering as I quit following them first after they dropped the Mazda plan & pretty much completely, after losing track of the BMW buddy. (and remember reading about a possible Peugeot or Citroen powerplant change-up. just checked & guess that never happened though) BTW, love the Saab & would love to see more pics of it @ some point! Looking forward to the D2 as well.
Do they still have a Chrysler/Neon main block? I wish they'd gone with Mazda's K series as originally planed.. woulda breathed all kinds of new life into the MX-3/MX-6 world!
(and some of us could care less about BMW's, no offense)
Ahh.. the joys of living in the country - NO traffic camera's! (and great roads all around ) Hated AZ when I was out there a few years ago, as even the back roads were painfully straight/boring for the most part, and they had empty cop vehicles strewn about them with camera's attached. I'm surprised I wasn't greeted by any AZ tickets once I'd made it back home.
Apparently Aussieland too.. so did I just watch sequences from a Jason Statham movie that didn't make it, or did somebody manage to crack open poor Klutch's head & drag one of his dreams out onto Youtube? :scared: One thing that would be fun about living near Nightrider, (or "Statham") - putting nails & such out!
I DD a Miata.. what do you think its primary reason for being is, hauling loads of drywall and/or the carpool lane? Most everything in those vids seemed modified in some manner. While they wouldn't sound near as good, (unless an engine swap occurred), there's no reason you couldn't be as idiotic a driver in a RWD minivan, especially one that's been tweaked, lol. FWIW, I'd be pretty surprised if you could come back in 15yrs & tell me you'd never driven a van of some sort, for one reason or another.
You've never driven a van, what do you know. And no, all you'd need is some crap tires and/or a damp road etc. I've seen vans that've been slightly lowered/modified do all kinds of wild stuff as well. Not sure why anybody would choose that avenue to spend their money, but that's not the topic here. You're irrelevant, lol.
(wow.. now he doesn't even use vehicles for transportation)
I don't think many people are like "man, I want to drive a van!" if they have a choice.. that doesn't mean I'd never drive one though, if a situation came up where it was the only form of transportation or whatever. (it's not like I said buy one) So why are you now posting vids of random people driving like complete jackasses in public? Also, I have no idea what you look like & after seeing what you've done to your car, definitely don't want to!
EDIT - oh right, I guess you were trying to show me how cool "ute's" can be.. (which incidentally, pretty much any RWD can be made to do)
So now you've made it a competition of who's the bigger idiot, great. At least you're talking about your driving in your vehicle I guess. (since apparently his story was about being a passenger in somebody else's, as he's too cool to ever drive a van for any reason, lol)
