Its that one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/rss-ticker/

Looks like it cuts it at the "#"

I guess it's only English that is compact enough to fit in that space, so it's better this way. Those ones on the side in that screen are not translatable, could have been but I won't add them now.\r\n",

Mh, does not happen for me, I just get to the start of a thread.

edit: looks like a problem with the RSS addon I use for firefox. Nevermind.

Any chance we could be sent directly to the post in question if we follow the RSS feed? It now seems to link to the beginning of the thread for me.

Try again, according to Scawen there was a problem with the license check for test patch F9.

Not worth it, set it up for 15min played for another 15, deleted. Maybe I took a car that doesn't suit the game (Bimmer) but it felt pretty bad, disconnected. In the end it's gtr evo with a bit more fancy graphics nothing more.

The Prost interview afterwards on ITV takes the cake, only reason I can think of is that he didn't see the replay yet.

Go be miserable with the other Germans at 4P.

edit: Meh, can't do white, small text any more with this new forum, now that is a proper reason to moan! To elaborate on my point from above: Victor has absolutely nothing to do with tyre physics, he was the main force behind this new look (together with some more people from the community).

You can do whatever you want on your server with your friends, just don't expect support or answers to your questions regarding vob mods (downloaded cars).

1. Do I still need cheatengine to tune engine HP and stuff? <- Yes, not sure if there is LFSTweak for the latest version I didn't check.

3. Can I host my own server on my private server at home? (cost?) And can I tweak rules and settings on server? <- Yes, no problem at all.

4. Can I play with friends (online on my own private server) on custom maps? <- Custom maps as in layouts? Then yes.

5. Can i play with friends (online on my own private server) WITH cheatengine/other tweaks (if its needed)? (aka not use official rules) <- Yes

Love the small touch with the changing cars on the topbar, the site looks modern and easy to access from what I can see so far. Great work vic!

Looks like the Asus one "only" runs with the ivy bridge i5 3337U while the Toshiba got the newer haswell 4200U processor. They are pretty similar on clock speed but the 4200U got the quicker internal GPU. If you're planning on gaming every now and then it may be worth going for the Toshiba.

That is just from a quick glance on the specs that I've found, you should double check if they really run different cpu's

No, only stitched together maps based on best guess from the pictures

Edit: found one of those posted in the thread

try to map /press ESC to one of your wheel buttons from within LFS, no need to get complicated with joy2key and stuff.

Also check lfs\docs\Commands.txt

edit: You may also have a look at this: https://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=10956

There's some really useful ready made scripts there, they just need a bit of fine-tuning for your own situation but it's an easy way to get to know the LFS script system.

If you plan to get this going give me a shout and I'll add it as an event in the LFS AC group on steam, everybody should get a message on event start then, maybe we'll get some random joiners.

Use lfsworld, not sure why we don't have a button in the LFS internal serverlist too, but it works nicely via lfsw (you can also join servers directly)

edit: And you got the nice buddy list with lfsw too of course, tbh I never use the LFS internal serverlist anyway, its so much more convenient with lfsw.

Also had a go with default set just for giggles, and I think 43's is pretty good already for a motion sim with default set. Did a 42.8 on my comfy chair but I suck in single seaters so I guess people with talent will probably do 41's even with default set. Couldn't take the chicane flat mainly because of tyre temps and zero camber, but that could again be my lack of talent.
