Saw a yellow Lambo last week, didn't get a chance to catch which model it was because he was too busy running a red light and almost taking out a minivan in the process. There are a couple more Lambos around here as well as some Ferarri's. There's a guy with a light blue R8 I see every once and a while. Last year I saw a Corvette ZR1 on the highway outside the city here. Think the coolest thing I've ever seen is a Shelby Cobra, I'm guessing it was just a kit car but man that thing was sweet looking. I was walking down the street and it popped out around a curve and I think I almost broke my neck watching it drive by.
I hate the new layout. I'm sure its just like when Facebook changes their layout though, I hate it for a week or two then get used to it and don't care any more.
Danica in an ARCA race was a huge deal, and that's below trucks. Danica is just a media whore though. I have no problem with this Wallace kid coming to Nascar, and I seriously doubt it will turn into the circus Danica-mania has.
I only watch a couple F1 races a year at most, was it a big deal when Lewis Hamilton started racing? I don't remember anyone making a huge fuss over his skin color.
Well obviously someone had to win after the yellow. I just didn't want it to be Gordon. I would have been happy with Kenseth or Newman as well.
I do love Gordon's quote after the race though, if Kenseth is going to take the win from me I'm going to make sure he doesn't win either haha. Did Gordon really not think Kenseth was going to lay the bumper to him with 2 to go? I mean come on, its Martinsville.
How that's? Kenseth moved Gordon then Gordon paid him back. Hamlin was in the right spot to take advantage. The only person that Denny screwed on the last restart was his own teammate by chopping off Logano's nose.
Glad Gordon didn't win, would hate to see another Hendrick car in victory lane because of a caution with 10 to go.
I haven't seen any official word on the license, if I had to guess though I'd say C. The C6R is at B right now and I see that as a higher level car than the Supercar.
Pretty pumped for Martinsville practice in an hour, looking forward to seeing them all with spoilers again. Even if it doesn't change the racing, I couldn't stand the look of that wing much longer.
But there are no final results that I see there. I have no doubt that he finished 3rd in his class though, just didn't happen against the WRC guys obviously. And still its an awesome story regardless of where he finished, I mean to run a full rally with no help whatsoever is amazing. Just reading how all the Mexican fans were cheering for him was awesome too. If I could accomplish even a fraction of what Caswell did, I could die a happy man.
That was a pretty tame race at Bristol, not a ton of action and only one big wreck. Busch sure looks dumb for taking 4 at the end when Addington only wanted to put 2 tires on, not sure if he would have been able to hold off Johnson but I think he would have had a shot. Glad to see Tony jump up to second place with the 2 tire stop at the end though.
Anyone else see the wreck in the Legends race after the Nationwide race on Saturday? Pearson is seriously luckily to have only broken a few bones after the way that other car T-boned him in the drivers side.
Man I really want to go to Bristol, I'm sure I'll get down there some time in the next couple years. I go to a lot of 1/2 mile tracks around here, and to imagine a track that small surrounded by 160,000 people, it has to be an amazing place to be on race day.
I do hope LFS development is back in full swing some day. While its disappointing to fans of LFS that development has slowed so much, LFS was still one of the great simulations of all time, and that is surely a huge accomplishment for a one man dev team. I have moved on to other sims but still frequent these forums every day, and I'll surely be back when patches start coming out for LFS again.
