+1. Each style/genre really has its own leaders. Paco de Lucía, for example... even Jonny Buckland is one of the best at what he does.
OP: Saying which is the "best" is silly. That's just asking for your favorite. It's just going to turn into "compile a list of world-class guitarists."
Anyway, my personal favorite would have to be Zoot Horn Rollo.
I never thought I'd say this about a Harley, but it might actually look nice with rearsets about a foot farther back and very low clip-ons. Maybe with enough mods it could pass as a café bike!
I don't think more combos is per se a bad thing. I'd probably rather have 10 tracks each with 5 combos than 10 tracks with 1 each.
Anyway, I doubt it takes anywhere near as long for Eric to come up with a bunch of combos for an existing track as it takes for him to make up a completely new environment from scratch.
More tracks is always a good thing, and variant combos are an afterthought: why should they be skipped?
Apples and oranges! I liked the Prestige because of David Bowie & Michael Caine. But it was long, and I didn't find it exactly satisfying...
I'd rather be able to watch the good movie with the good woman, anyway (without her squirming too much & complaining about poor birdies being crushed).
