You are forgetting that DNS can take 48 hours to propagate to everybody. So yes, you can change Master server's IP, but it is of no much use when you have an unplanned outage.

This is not because of 64bits OS, it is because recent versions of Windows does not include DX9 anymore and there are some missing files that LFS still uses.

I don't have any answer for the crash, but you just have to uncheck the "Always ask before opening this file" box to stop seeing that warning (pretty obvious if you ask me).

I bought it when it was in beta, so I had 18 months of free online. I played it like 3 days thanks to my shitty PC (that is still my current rig xD). Despite that, I've always loved the physics of rF2 and the dynamic tracks, etc.
But I never came to play again, and of course I wouldn't pay for the online no matter what (as I already own more sims).
I just learnt that ISI is not the developer any more, and that probably can only be positive in all possible way.

It could be a broken wheel. If the encoder wheel (a perforated disc) slips due to force feedback forces it would explain why plugin the usb again would fix your problem.
Could you check in another game? Probably the Profiler FFB test works fine too. The harder you work against the motors the better.

I don't think this is the cause of your problem, but AFAIK you should not use this command, as it is intended for very specific cases that require it.
I know, but I don't really care, it's just a wish of a perfect game. Soft body physics should be the only realistic simulation in the future, but until then...
King of the road also "simulated" liquid movement when hauling a tanker (your trailer was just more unstable), and this isn't present in ETS2. We don't really need everything to be simulated, just use canned physics that are not too crappy for people to notice immediately xD

Half of what you say is exactly what I miss from Mafia 1 (gears, revs, clutch) and GTA IV (wheel spins, differentials, suspension design for each car...).

NFS Underground/Carbon would also be cool if done as a real simulator. Not suitable for everybody, but great for some of us.

Neither of them allows to do what you are asking for. You would need to edit the correct memory address, and don't make LFS' physics calculations get mad about it while you are at it.
You can change driver input though, there is a driver/API/SDK that allows you to emulate a gaming device so you can input whatever you want.

In on of the latest versions the controls menu was reworked, and the wheel turn compensation changed the way it works. If you had you steering range to less than 900º it could cause you the issue you described. Though I don't know if this was your issue for sure.
The only thing I can think of is that your range is too limited in LFS, messing with the soft force feedback stops. That or your profiler did not load its profile properly, but I suppose you already have tried and rebooted several times before posting.

Just to clarify, not only DFGT uses that driver, G25 and G27 uses the same old driver, 5.10.127. Logitech does not discriminate by price, they just don't bother at all xD
The driver is pretty much fine, as always, though it sometimes messes up and recognise G27 as DFP and you have to tinker around until it somehow fixes itself. But I insist that this hardly ever happens, and when it does is a global issue, so it is related to Windows Updates or something that Logitech does remotely.

It seems to be 200º as Eclipsed pointed out. The 999º example was already known as soon as 2006.
To get a flat tyre the game checks whole tyre average temperature. So if AVG temp < 255ºC everything is fine, despite one of the 16 sectores reached 999ºC
You are confusing tweaks with cheats...
Tweaks are even allowed online if the server is properly identified as modified. Tweaks allow you to try new car classes, or do silly cars to spare some free time.
LFS doesn't manages the Profiler settings as other games do. So you must set it to 900º, and then in LFS' settings set "wheel turn compensation" to 1 and a range of 900º.
