This started occuring yesterday, when driving in a straight line or turning or when ever, my lfs freezes for about 1 second then unfreezes then freezes and it does this contunuesly, and i can't race and drive properly because of it, whats wrong, is it my settings, gfx card, or internet? Also the sound cuts out every time when this is happening.

You modify the colour inder the Colours tab, it should be near the left. Play with teh sliders there.

When playing in single player or multiplayer, when you are in the garage, simply click on the word 'car' and you are given a selection screen.

Yes I would also agree to the fact that many people who own a car in real life want to forget the rules of the road, but for those of us who don't have a car or are under age or just like to simulate real life driving then it becomes a bit of a problem. I would agree that there are more things that are being improved and the one that I am most awaiting is that there would be a 4 door saloon car to drive.

I noticed during game play that there is the possibility of explanding the SO layout. Near the pits there are two 'blocked' roads which can be easily* explanded out. This would mean that all of us C I T Y L I F E fans can finally get a near-enough replication of a city. The road markings are already there, the only thing that gets in the way are the barriers on the side, if they could be taken away and/or replaced with kerbs then it would be much more like a city and not a racing track.

Another thing that I noticed is the objects available in the Shift+U mode. I find that if you are making a 'road' layout in SO then at least you should have the option of something other then Barriers and Metal Fences. I was thinking of something along the lines of barriers such as:http://www.eddystoneselfbuild. ... ges/water%20roadworks.jpg that do not have the power to launch your car into orbit when you trade paint, but are more like the tire stacks, so in hitting them, they slow and damage your car but they leave you the option of being able to drive. I am hoping that by S3 in the objects database we should be able to have something like kerbs and grass, highway posts and working traffic lights, but I know I am asking for too much, just the new barriers will do for now.

Personally:

Swearing is a big NO in servers i Admin, If somebody swears once i will give a warning, again and they are banned for 1 - 999 days depending on anything else they may have done. Why? well i use TS alot and i swear all the time in their with my team mates and friends, But thats because i know them and its often just a joke, In the server it could be anybody. perhaps a child, Granted they may know the words already and use them. But its not my / our place to encourage that in public.

I try to be strict as possible, Though generally if i know them i tend to kick them for a laugh,

Generally the only language allowed is English, If somebody uses another language i politely ask them not to. If they end up spamming / having long conversations then i will say again and then kick if needed.

If its something silly like wrecking or swearing then generally its an immidiate BAN, Most the time its the only way they will learn.

I don't run a server, however I manage a server called C I T Y L I F E SO by CLC and Cops and Robbers by CLC which are hosted by MaxH. We run a no wrecking policy whereas if a player wrecks on purpose he is given warnings, when he reaches his 3rd it will be a kick. When (if) he re-joins and starts to wreck again then a ban will be enforced. Swearing is NOT permitted as to allow a clean frustration free environment. The white lines a very pixelized, maybe you are doing it for the effect but the final product might look worse then expected, clean edges are always favoured over jagged ones.

Why do people come on the demo servers and try to get cracks for LFS, one guy I found was:Mr.X and he started arguing with me, here is some of chat log (atached)

PS Tried the drivers, didn't help, maybe there is another way to tell LFS not to do so?

My LFS seems to think it is being run on two monitors and stretches itself automatically. When I tried to take a screen-shot it came out normall, any way to solve the stretch because I can only see half the screen and its all abit blurry/pixelized. Maybe I should re-install my Nvidia drivers?

I have the nVidia GeForce 5500 FX from PNY technologies. I have low frame rate but I just learned to get used to it, I sometimes have to switch off the Aliasing when in big races, but otherwise its fine.

OMG, guys i have an idea, maybe a bit crazy but here it goes: Some people can't afford a wheel at this time/or are waiting for the new Logitech Wheel/or prefer mouse.

Not bad of a layout, maybe see if MaxH likes it and he might use it on our C I T Y L I F E by CLC server.

I use Mouse+Joystick. I find it easy to have Joystick as accel and braking(the up/down) and mouse for steering and gear up&down (left and right mouse buttons) I have no steer reduction and I just got used to driving now. Although some set-ups are not made for mouse drivers, thats why I normally get my sets of other mouser's

someone can tell me how to stop the plastic coming 'out' please do so ^^ otherwise, if you want anything changed talk to me
