Had a power outage for a few hours in my quarter yesterday evening (very unusual, first long one in twenty years according to my landlord), and the little shop around the corner sold their icecreme supply for a few cents before it could meld. Got to know a dozen neighbors I haven't met before

you may need to scavenge a connector thingy that fits onto that yes

white should be left channel (pin 9), red right (pin 5), black is GND (pin 2)

are there any markings on the PCB of the TV card?

connector should be

9 7 5 3 1
O O O O O
O O O O O
10 8 6 4 2

There is a second line-in in that F-audio connectors, look it up on page 18 of the handbook/ PDF. those cables from the TV card should be left/right/ground.

Hmm, I think I hijack this thread a little ...

Back in the early nineties I remember watching some japanese live action show sometimes very early on Saturday mornings. It featured I think a policemen, and he and his car could morph (he in a supersuit, the car by lots of body panels switching on hinges, unlike Transformers) The car was white in normal form, and red-ish in superhero form, and its model was something like a AE86 or Supra Mk. II, definitely something with pop-up headlights.

There were toys available, I once found a toy version of the hero car while working in a kindergarten, but somehow didn't check it for the series name.

Any ideas? Its just a nostalgia thing

HDD's are now a 256GB Samsung 830 & 2x 2TB 7200.14 (with 8TB now available via NAS).

Really just wondering .. what do you need ~10TB of drivespace for? Copied a whole wall of Blurays? Still only have one external 1.5TB drive and that is 2/3 full with all my music and movies

Quote from NitroNitrous :Graphics have never been the strong point of GTA, basically because a console can not handle such a huge map with proper quality, but it looks good enough to be enjoyed, I will definitely play this one

For me thats a good thing, maybe I can play it on my "old" system (Phenom XII, HD 6800 ). And not having followed games during the last years at all I'm totaly blown away by Bioshock Infinites graphics, while people call it old fashioned.

nah, spiders normally don't like warm and moist places (thats why you find them in cellars and under houses, were its cool), so one crawling in whatever body orifice is highly unlikely.
Still a "nice" mental image

what you need to do when visiting friends with little kids

best car in real live? used 1.9 TDI Passat probably. Lots of room for people, stuff, car parts, very good mileage, fast enough for the autobahn, comfy, low running costs (except tay), still fixable in your own workshop, lots of them on the used car market.

tested if I could use my new phone and its sat-nav dock thingy for onboard vids last winter, turned out ok, even tho the engine sounds a lot deeper than it really is (still only a 50ps 1.0).

filmed my then daily commute to my internship

Quote from Anthoop :Mouse guys will always love the handbrake...

but the Connection display in those hotlaps shows Marus using a wheel ..?

I watched his LX4 WE hotlap, it looks quite a lot like myself driving, shift points and all. But he is always a whole gear faster, i.e his 2nd is my 3rd. And he doesn't seem to lose any traction when throwing the car sideways

Washington Post? The last link you posted is to a Washingtons Blog (for all we know it may be a blog from a guy named Washington...) , who in typical manner links to several dubious sources, translations of stuff, and other post on his own blog. His main source is some russian news site/blog My grannys gossip is more credible.

Eric and Victor haven't been fulltime LFS Devs for years, and I hope Scawen hasn't been aswell, I mean he has to feed at least a family of four to feed.

One thing I just noticed looking for user counts is this, "we"/LFS lost around 200 licensed hosts ~4 month ago, guess lots of admins just didn't renew their server slots. Its not really a bad thing, we still have like 6 servers per licensed racer atm (480 servers vs. 68 licensed racers online atm)

surely the Devas can put people on the ignore list like normal users can, can't they? Less time consuming than doing two posts here.

Have fun reading and cursing ;-) : 17 cultural reasons why this E ... wants to live in America

Yes, I haven't been to the US yet, but I and people close to me have a fair share of experience with the worse type of 'Muricans. ("Do you have toasters in Germany?" ... "Is Hitler still your King?" ... "Watch out, those stairs are called escalators and move on their own!" ...)
