Actually I like driving via bumper cam in AC, which I know is odd, but somehow I get more feel for the car that way (plus in some cars like the P4/5 cockpit sight is pretty limited). Might need to play with FOV a little.

I expect every manufacturer to downplay the power atm, and I think at least for the first races it doesn't even matter that much. Reliability is the key, and here Mercedes seems to be in the lead (=number of successful test laps). If Red Bull/Renault get their kettle going soon I expect them to be a strong contender ofc. From the driver's side experience (not only f1) is needed to make these new cars work as they should, this talk is really interesting regarding driveability

I find that appointment of those oligarchs a little dangerous, their net of (financial) influence is too tight in my opinion, but apparently from what i read the Ukraine' people like those appointments, and both guys stand for a united, independent country. Just let the direct injection inject a little while the exhaust valves are already open. Not economical, but who cares in cars like this.

He came back saying that there is nothing wrong, in fact everything was better than under Janukowitsch.

Been at the Ring, having stood and walked on the Ring I'd say its the best interpretation I've seen to date. And the first track k I feel confident going fast (1:59 with the P4/5)

edit: well the track itself is great, but the trackside surroundings and scenery is a little off and sparse at places. And too many trees on the grandstand banking and behind it, especially at the Dunlop-Kehre

Very cool episode. there are few things I noticed:

The new on-hood camera. It has a special, almost a little artificial feel to it, but in a good way.

They played with viewer expectations. When the parade of police-supercars passed Hamster, I thought "well that was probably staged". Than a few minutes later we have that parade of weird offroaders passing him, like a sort of "yes of course this is staged" moment. I liked it, totaly over the top.
