Normal daily university student life, bit of stuff happening in my reallife, but still enjoy an hour of racing on cargame.nl every other day, a little AC (still under 8 hours of total playtime).

Yesterday and today there's the 12h of Sebring blaring through my flat, on the last 8 minutes now

Quote from Mustafur :Give this man a prize.

Plus don't forget that Top Gear UK is aired all around the globe, where noone would get those jokes. Pikey, Slope - apparently pretty UK specific terms (I didn't know them).

That's one way to see it/her. But on the other hand Putin is sort of decorating himself and his politics by giving position to "eyecandy" like her.

Seriously, this feels like C&C Red Alert. All we need now is some sort of Tanja wrestling Crimea out of Russias hands with two Deagles

Quote from The Very End :
1: A train ride from one part of the country to the other with a camera mounted on the front car. Lastet a whole day!

We have those during the night, complemented with classical music. My father loves to watch them when he can't sleep :spin:

Quote from The Very End :
2: A boat / cruise trip which lasted... god knows, a day or more, and it was shown NON-STOP

well .. that sound pretty specific to Norway

Regarding Top Gear: The Botswana Special still stays at the top for me. This was not bad, but during the second part they too often ended up doing crinch-worthy stuff that makes me skip forward.
About the "racism": Top Gear likes to play with stereotypes, yes, but not limited to whatever group or ethnicity, nor themselves.

All that's mandatory is a USB device with enough buttons to solder to for the number of gears you want to use, apart from that its down to your handiwork abilities, tools, time and budget.

Feel free to take a look in the thread I have linked in my signature, I can totally recommend my method of creating tongs for each gear.

Quote from CrAZySkyPimp :Hopefully they will adjust the exhaust a bit and give it more decibel for next year, sucks for those people going to watch it live when it's that "quiet".

Quote from http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2014/03/11/new-engines-not-much-quieter-v8s-fia-says/ :The sport’s governing body estimates the maximum volume of the new engines is around 134 decibels, down from 145 last year.

It claims the new engines are louder than the typical noise level at the front row of a rock concert (110 decibels) and above the threshold of pain (130 decibels). At close quarters the difference in volume will hardly be noticeable, it added.

Wouldn't call 134 quite, still louder than almost any trackside exhaust noise limits (the new 911 GT3 reaches 130 dB too, but full N/A screech there)
I feel atm its more of a adjustment problem for the broadcasts, as if they're stil used to last years V8 noise

I really kind of like the new sound

My DFGT rattles like mad while the car is stationary aswell, can't get it to work right. If I turn up filtering/damping so that that rattling stops the feel while driving becomes bland.

Plus does the Hyuara have ridiculous high gears? Just from the garage screen, both 6th and 7th top out way beyond 400kph.

electric motor. At the 4 minute mark the cycler looks down and one can see numerous cables and what looks like battery packs inside the bikes triangulation.

Didn't quite managed to get up at 7:00 this morning to watch the Quali
But judging from this recording of the Free Practice TV stations need to work a little with thier sound balance, the cars become unhearable as soon as someone if speaking at the same time.

Regarding loudness in real life, a friend of mine lifes in Melbourne, not very close to the track, and he was woken up by the cars this morning

Quote from Racer X NZ :A chocolate fish to the first person to find the really interesting bit of info in the above post, ten chocolate fish to the first person who manages to associate an earlier posts info with the winning info in this post. With references please, come on, it shouldn't be hard if your paying attention. There are a number of clues in most of the above (this) post, all from different sources though.

I have the clear plan/dream to (once I got the financial background) build a '67 Volvo Amazon featuring a Megasquirted N/A B5244S, M90 transmission and probably V90 rear axle. That howl .. :melting:
Friend of me had an Audi 90 with the 2.2 inline-fiver, that was a good sounding car, well one that handled like a boat (and became a compact after being rear ended by a texting lady :really

Quote from AndRand :And frankly speaking... manace empire with economy size of Netherlands... come-on!!!

Belgium seems closer in size ... but actually I didn't think thats Crimea is that big (even tho I saw that Top Gear episode )

and thanks for not giving up here like I did, all my current sources are in German and I can't be bothered to transcribe them into English for our Oz friend here, just to be bombarded with "facts" again.

Regarding the pic Yuri posted: Googling that name brings up a number of (far-left) blog entries plus the wiki site of some historic Ukraine nobleman, nothing else.
Guys on reddit answered my question about it stating that the guy there was a suspected Sniper. He was forced to bow before the victims and probably god, before Maidan leaders brought him to where all the other captured policemen were held. He was probably beaten up before, but not in the degree stated here. Plus he did not eat whatever form of cross

btw, with the Maidan being surrounded and all hospitals under police control, how should he have gotten into an ER?

Well I don't know which rock you hid under the last weeks, but OSCE observers have tried entering Crimea at least 3 times. All three times they were stopped from entering the peninsula by "masked militia", once with some gun fire for good measure. Same with many journalists.

I could go on explaining for a number of paragraphs citing numerous sources, but I can't be bothered for you to bash me down as a CIA infiltrated german mind.

In short what i want:

A free, unoccupied Ukraine that holds election under supervision of OSCE, UN, EU, Poland, Latvia and whatnot. After that we could start asking the Crimeans what they'd like to happen to their land.

Either that or the car is setup quite badly. Even on a pot-holed dirtroad one should not need to steer like that. I dare a guess but judgung from the oversteer out of corners that rear migth be a little on the too hard side.

Compare this to smoothness á la Loeb an Latvala
