It might be interesting to add a car with something like the GT-R's four wheel steering. It could allow for a relatively heavy sports car, sort of like the GT-R itself.
V8 in the XRG sounds great. The engine sounds are going to be awesome in future version once the sythesizer model gets some more aesthetic work by Scawen.
I spun a 97 Pontiac Gran-Am in gravel (that looks like what we have in LFS) off a road in New Mexico, and there was no resistance like we have in LFS. It also took maybe twice as long to dig itself to a stop.
But using the XRT, I get "Engine Size: Unknown", and the turbo checkbox is greyed out, as well as the rim editor.
Using the XRG, it seems the max cylinder count is 4, and engine size won't go above 2 liters.
The engine layout doesn't seem to work either, on the XRT... I must have a bug, because most things don't work.
It'll happen soon enough... There's lots and lots of cars that could be added to the LRF class. More than enough of them different from each other and very fun to drive.
LFS is not restrained to real cars, it can add any cars imaginable, e.g. all the cars that would have been or would be extremely fun cars to drive, but never make it to the market or production for whatever reason (e.g. too small a niche target market).
Just thinking out loud.. Could someone script an emulation of four wheel steering like the GT-R's SuperHICAS? Would this be possible using something like Tweak, and Insim?
Ha! Tristan almost channeling Sergeant Hartman there
EK - It sounds more like Lerts is at least partialy aware of his delusion, and doesn't really mind it. Like those "psychics" who start off feet on the ground but end up believing their own lies.
