The last one was locked, as well as the last version of bespoke. I'm not sure about the versions before that.

Quote from Gunn :- To promote the use of the LX cars so that more people might consider spending some time behind the wheel of one

Does anyone have the LXs' usage stats from June? LX Month ought to make for interesting stats.
Then again the stats are pretty stacked already..

Gianni, you should argue with those server admins or league organizers, not with Scawen..

There's a fuel gauge on the dashboard, and the F12 readout.. way more useful than some light. A low fuel light would only be interesting if it would light up at a custom fuel amount.. and even then you have all the info you need in the F12 HUD: fuel/lap consumption and fuel remaining. You don't even have to do any unit conversion operations.

Here's a blog that keeps track of developments for anyone who doesn't want to spend more time than one glance at an RSS feed.

There could be either a check that the custom view is within realistic boundaries, or an additional custom view restricted to such boundaries and allowed under the new forced cockpit rule.

South City long reverse, Classic reverse, KY GP long, Fern Bay gold reverse, black, and Aston National because I could drive it at 10/10ths.

Quote from Joris :I once noticed a facist running a "hitler" skin with swasticas and a portraid of the bastart on his fox. (skin name FOX_POOPOO)

Sounds like the same guy I've run into before.

Internet racist pukes don't need positive ID, they very often just go on and on and on about whatever variant of homo sapiens gets their attention, independently of the accuracy of their brain's race-detection apparatus or of the veracity of their fantasies.

The surest way to catch them is to very passively play along with them for a good replay or screenshot. One of these guys actually pitted in and back out to show me a nazi skin when I only suggested he was not serious about spamming the server with his macros and that he would have better luck at satisfying his stress by keeping his hands on the wheel to race along with everyone. Hehe..

I said it with certainty because it was both my own impression and what I remember Scawen saying - that he was doing some post-release fixes for LFS version X before taking a break / starting on Y (now I can't remember precisely what he said anymore).
Anyway, semantics! He may just do whatever he feels like, e.g. infuse X test patches with Y stuff, or not; who knows..

Ok, the point is that development in the X test-patches are focused on features present in version X.
X test patches do not concern features that patch Y will bring. You'll see those features at the earliest in Y test patches. That period preceding the release of version Y would be what I mean by "pre-Y" development.

Keichi, you just wouldn't use it when it wouldn't be needed.

The X-test patches are X-fixes, not pre-Y developments.

He's asking what it is LFS does wrong that allows full-throttle launches to grip as well as controlled launches.

lalathegreat: It has to do with the way LFS handles longitudinal grip. Read the threads on this topic, it's already been debated quite a bit.

This has never happened to me before and I've never heard of anything like it, so I don't know for sure if it's caused by patch X or not.
The only thing I did out of the ordinary was hold the clutch before the race restarted.

This is what you're probably looking for:

The way it works is finding and tweaking needles in LFS' memory haystack, which means that everytime LFS is updated, the needles need to be found all over again.
So for now, either play with this old version (put a copy of Patch V LFS.exe in your LFS folder, e.g. "LFS.V.exe" so you can keep the regular X version intact), or grab the tools and make your own patch X tweak..

The most likely next Tweak will be for the release version of S2, or the next one after that that's most likely not to get patched for a while.

No, I definitely only made a new FZR skin, pitted out with it right away (no setup changes or anything), pitted back in after a few seconds to check on my fuel before the race started; and that's when the skin changed.
There's no doubt that it was at the end of a qualifying session, at Blackwood, and maybe (it's how I pictured it when I first recalled it, to post here) in the evening weather.

Now this I'm not sure about anymore, but I remember bits of the picture: it selected one of the default blank skins with the yellow swatch at the top of the left hand side colors settings column.

And it had happened once before, although I can't remember anything about that occurence other than it happened at KyotoGP in daylight weather, and that I made a note to go post it in here.

I'll keep an eye out for it and report anything new.
