We have a guy in the czech community who is experiencing this bug> When he chooses any car except GTi, LFS closes with the attached error report. Can you help him?

For example for running a balanced TBO+LX4 server on a particular track...

+ the possibility to set a minimum handicap for someone on the server (like getting a ballast handicap for winning)

all setable by the admin...

and do not forget that the XRR is the only car that gets stuck in gravel beds... the other cars in 95% of all cases get out... the XRR once stopped, does not get anywhere...

well a class can have only one car but having it serverside customizable would not hurt, bacause there are tracks where the LX4 fits within the TBO, but other tracks where it owns them...

i think that LFS needs a world to be loaded to display the car in the garage, so it would need a bigger rewrite of the code, which i think will not happen...

Now that it is possible to race with 32 people I think it would be nice to allow multiclass racing on one server with the results taking the classes into consideration. For example you can run a TBO+LRF server. But normally only the guys racing the LRF class will get a win into the LFSW statistics. I think it would be nice if the results were handled completely separately for all classes/cars allowed on the server...

There is no sign up fee or any other fee. The leagues are for free, open to any Czech & Slovak S2 licensed driver. The only other condition is, that everybody has to use a mandatory skin template with logos of the sponsor(s)...

And how to get the prizes / sponsors? Show & tell... Tell them you have a possible promo event for them, show them some screenshots or a video. Tell them that their name will appear in the league name, their logo will be used on every skin and that you will also put a logo/link on your website. Then tell them about how many people will race (we have around 100 drivers now), that you will have reports from races and a videosummary. Try a few companies and sooner or later you will get someone!

Well the 1st Czech LFS League has got prizes for 6 seasons now.

1st season with prizes:

ahh, sorry... I'm just too long with LFS and so are the other Czech people I asked wheter they have both versions

and one more thing> there are 2 czech language versions in LFS> one without special czech letters and one with them... cestina.txt is the one without those special characters and should be deleted...

1. when starting LFS for the first time and just after clicking, i select another program so the focus is somewhere else, LFS runs, but the tab in the status bar (the gray one usually at the bottom edge of the monitor, which shows all running programs) does not appear, when alt+tabing and selecting lfs the tab appears... using win2000.. i'm not able to reproduce it when starting lfs for the second time (unless i restart the computer) because lfs's window appears too quickly for me to change to another program...
2. some people get the message "Warning : Road tyres on rallycross track" with GTR on WE rev...

I second that! (except the not playing part )
When I look at the track selection screen, the ideal lines, braking points already pop out in my head... You may say that there are many combos that I have not driven yet, thats true, but the lines are 99% the same for all cars...

I would love to see real world tracks in LFS, but I don't care for real cars...

yup, i think its there to protect the master server from flood clicking...

I was trying to connect to the test server by pressing ENTER and got a message saying "too many CLICKS"!!! wtf I was not clicking my mouse button! this is a major bug!!

imo the best thing would be an autorestart after X minutes when more than Y people are on the server else normal voting... (X&Y setable by the admin)...

and try getting some better setups than the default ones! Try searching the Setup section - Bob's easy sets are good and if you are after WR sets, visit the setupfield

I tried searching but did not find the answer... Will the hotlaps be reset with the new patch? Will the handicaps be in singleplayer too?

We have a GTR league starting on Monday and we need to know if the hotlaps will be reset or not because if not, then we have to think of some other way to divide people into divisions and there is not much time left...

hmm should the weight handicaps be in multiplayer only then this will bring trouble for league organisers who divide drivers into divisons (servers) according to hotlap times... dunno how else should they fairly divide say 80 people driving in the same league on different servers...
take a GTR league, according to the hotlaps div1 will be mostly FZR, but according to online times, the div1 should have all cars...
i just hope the handicaps will be in singleplayer too...

I have not found where I could translate the texts from the Options/Display/Interface screen...

dunno if a bug, but some warning would be nice...
i ran out of hdd space during conversion of the skins (realized it after 5mins of going wtf?wtf?) .. it said it could not write the dds versions, but i got into the menu... selected singleplayer, went to the garage and my lx6 was white... wtf i thought, clicked on the colours tab, texture name, LFS was frozen for about 2 minutes, LFS did not respond to anything, but i gave it time and read through the changes in the patch, when i clicked on it some time it showed an empty texture list...

so some kind of a warning saying i'm out of disk space would be nice...

take me with reserve, we have a race weekend before us and since yesterday i'm at work for 13 hours a day and very tired...
