leisure kart, public use... 15 minute ride, for some $$$
the surface will depend on how much a painted one costs... a tarmac area is available in the begining...
Hello,
I'm doing a "entrepreneur's aim" (dunno if the term is right - a summary of a business idea, with all aspects discussed, tables, graphs etc.) for my bachelor thesis and the business I'm planning is a GoKart race track. There is information I could not find on the net niether get it from an operator of an already existing racetrack, but it's vital for the planning part of my work...
The question is> How much do Kart tyres wear (i guess it's best to fit the hardest tyres for public use)? How often do they need replacing (front/rear)? How much does the ordinary maintenance of a kart cost (like replacing the clutch, brakepads, etc)?
Please does any of you know? I'll be grateful for any input... Thanks!
well i would say that this depends on the mentality and experience of the driver... Due to lack of time I can't practice much so I usually drive like I would in RL... easy on the first laps, then pushing the limit... and I found out that racing almost without practice only in league races where every mistake counts (I haven't raced a for fun race on public servers for a loooong time now...) made me drive only at about 95% of the limit...
this has been suggested a few times before... LINK1, LINK2, LINK3
a nice RWD match for the UF1 could be the Skoda 110R with a slightly stronger engine... the stock specs are:
1100cc engine 46,3 kW, 880 kg -> 52,6kW/kg
I'm glad you like it guys but with sending you some I can't promise anything but asking Dan Matt if he's willing to send them... He's the one who paid for those stickers, so he has the final word...
well we don't intend to make any profit on selling those... only to partly cover the expenses (most of the stickers will be given away for free, some as prices in league races)... so i hope the Scavier guys will have an understanding for this...
To show that we will spread Live For Speed across the country, Dan Matt got us these nice stickers Weather proof - so i already have one on my car A big thank you Dan Matt for getting these stickers done! We will distribute them where possible and also sell some to the Czech LFS racers
apology accepted NIKI...
it was not only the accident... after this i was a bit "shaked" everybody just passed me like i was not there, then 4 laps alone> no fun... and finally on almost the final lap i dunno why i crashed into the fence, ruined both front dampers and the car did not steer... so i spectated and thought that the next race i would start from the pole and have fun blocking the faster guys... but nope... i had to start from last, held on for one lap but then just saw you guys getting away and i don't see driving alone as fun...
dodo> ok, i'll see in what mood I will be next week...
pls sign me off... i love the XRT, but why the hell do i have to get always involved in some crash that ruins my racing?i thought this would be fun, but almost every race some guy had to prove me otherwise... i got only one nerves and i would like to keep them healthy...
why not add a simple line into the license agreement that if you are caught cheating online it would void your S2 license?
this simple measure should keep anybody from cheating online... and there would be no need for additional anti-cheat coding for Scawen...
omg, why the hell did i think the race was today ... damn, i was looking forward to this like this :hyper: and i missed the 1st race :sadbanana
well see you next time guys...
Exactly, I know that, and still say it wrong in the interview in the begining... but when saying the www i got it right illepall nervosity i guess , but its true that the majority says Life... why? who knows
only RA ... they wanted us to have one race, so we did... everybody chose their car and we kept together... there was no time for a few proper races... and i think they recorded 30min max...
I'm pleased to announce the airing of a short Live For Speed review in the only Czech nationwide broadcast gameshow named GamePage on the Czech Television. It was aired Yesterday before noon. I have to thank all the people who made this happen. Namely Gabelhirsh from Actual Linux e-Racing Team for his contact on the CzTV editors, Jet & Tairo & Gabelhirsh for coming to the set in Prague and making the psychical support for me (I was nervous as hell ), DoN gets the credits for the subtitles and Los for grabbing the show on TV! Thank you guys!
The system of the league was according to the real Skoda Octavia Cup... and the FXO has nearly the same specs as the race version... except for slicks...
i didn't want points or anything, i just wanted to be able to race on the TBO server in the little time i have for fun races... SamH told me this was not possible, so I looked what the STCC was about... found out that i needed gold for the XRT (not true anymore)... ok, i'll give it a try... 5 races on STCC XFG/XRG server... 2nd and 4x 1st... fwd, boring races and the vision that i would have to go through this for a long time for the golden license made me start this thread... now i'm ok with it, because you only need to drive fwd with the beginers license...
BBO> I have learned this some years ago, when i could not finish my first uni, due to lack of time for learning... Was too busy with my first enterprise, which in the end turned up not that good...
and I will not comment the 2nd part of your post... i guess you don't know me and all the things i've done (and will do) in the LFS world...
