well in all racing, the track is defined by white lines on both sides, even curbs are not part of the track and their purpose is to tell the driver he overdone the corner... but as someone in f1 said, every race driver will cut the track unless there is a trench with spears...
I know this can be done! It's somewhere option/view or thereabouts... You can turn off hands and wheel separately... The button reads something like this "Driver ON, Wheel ON".. I have both on off... so the only wheel I see is the one in my hands
if you buy S2, then when S3 comes, you can still download and play S3, use the latest LFS engine, but only access the S2 cars&tracks... if you would want to upgrade to S3 cars&tracks, it will cost you another 12 pounds...
yup... close everything except LFS... do not join a server... open the command line and type "netstat -n" this will show you all connections from your machine... now connect to a server, repeat, and viola the IP that wasn't there before is the IP of the server...
Vain> if LFS you try to connect even via direct IP and there is an active internet connection, LFS checks master server... so: no go for crackers... without an account on the masterserver you can't connect...
nope, i will argue on this... you have to matematically find out how much and which poly has to be altered and the increased poly count will do a hit on fps on its own... the physics of changable envrionment has not been seen in many games yet (red faction if i recall correctly), this is why the Ageia Physics processor has been developed...
well there are two buttons to press... the join race button, which is in the upper left section of the screen (where you add AI in singleplayer) and then the green GO/ready button in the lower right corner... what i suggested is that the admin would "click the join race button for the player" ...
so if the player doesnt click the join button and the admin would get sick of waiting, then yes, the person would not be in the grid...
ok, there is a possibility for the person to get to the place he shoud be even if he joins last (clicks join and then always clicks on the person above him and swaps position), but some people just don't get this... it's even common that people click the ready button instead of joining the grid, so wanting this kind of "advanced" clicking is just too much for them to handle...
nope, making the grid and clicking on "ready" are two separe things for people to do...
the idea is to remove the waiting that happens when I start to arrange the grid, two people join and the third is afk, so everybody has to wait till he comes back, then I can continue to arrange the grid... usually after the grid is ready i give 3 minutes break, then everybody has to click on the green "ready" button and the race starts only when everybody IS ready...
the idea is that the racers would not need to click join... the admin would do that for them...
We definitely need a rwd nonaero race car with slicks to compete with the XFR/UFR... This is what i really miss in S2 I'd love to race in this class but sorry, for me fwd just sucks...
I think it would be good for league admins if there was the possibility to "build" the startgrid in the pre-race screen. Now you have to call each driver by his name and wait till he joins (and sometimes they are afk so everybody has to wait). Clicking someones name would add them, the "-" would stay as it is now and add an up/down arrow so that you could move each joined racer.
When I finished the race, some time after i stopped, the whole car started to shake and it looked like the engine ran on 3 cylinders... you can see in the replay what the rpm did...
here you can only see the rpm do wierd things, but when it was live, the whole car shaked pretty quicky (like 1mm up and down, very fast...)
