The biggest problem with building a house comes up when you can't visit the site and check the progress. You see, its over 2 years now since I signed the contract for building a summerhouse at the race track in Jamaica - FernBay, while we were there racing with our team. Since then I was very busy and couldn't track the progress. And now after 2 and a half years my teammate was testing his FV8 at FernBay and brought me a pic taken by his coach from the exact place the pic was taken on our race 2 years ago.
You can't imagine how angry I was, when I saw, that after 2 years those lazy Jamaicans did not do anything!!! :chairs::gnasher:
On the bright side, they didn't steal any of the materials, so maybe, sometime in the future my summerhouse will get finished...
You can cut the fast lefthander before 3rd split like you would be driving AS Historic Rev. HLVC Invalid, but in races people could cut it... (saves about 2 sec...)
+1
i really think this would take 30minutes to implement (make the ballast as "the co-driver with variable weight")... and would give the community a great tool to find the right weight to make the cars more even...
I really just don't understand those hotshots, who think that their car can brake better than others... Is it so hard to start braking when the car which is 2nd infront of you starts braking? I have raced many races, public and league and this is the best moment to start braking for T1... Ok, you can be just a bit early on the brakes, but then there is space to let the brake go for a split sec and you loose practically nothing...
well i already translated about a half of the texts in LFS (garage screens and some others) and my name is on the credits page... so i have no prob starting the czech translation once it becomes available
The thing is that not everybody is good in english and I found out that many drivers don't use LFS World just because they don't understand it... I think it's a place where all drivers can get some useful info...
isn't the "problem" that in lfs you don't see many really stiff sets... I think that IRL the sets are pretty stiff...
or i didn't catch the real meaning of this thread, skimmed through only, cause i got a lot of work on my hands now (race weekend preparation and testing)
well not always, but if I right click on a name and at the moment while writing "/kick" someone disconnects (some other guy), then after I finish the /kick command and execute it, someone else gets disconnected, not the guy with the name i wanted to kick...
hmm it would be nice to have the warning light come up at first in turns (or braking/acceleratin) depending on where the sensor is located
imagine racing, then the light blips lightly in one or 2 turns... then the blip becomes longer and longer, you begin to see it in other turns too, until you see the light on all the time... dreams on...
err, what makes you think that you will notice the warning light if you now don't notice the gauge showing empty tank? not to mention that in 90% of races (public) you will always run with the warning light on...
