Thanks for that dave, i started the cmd thing off and tried to join some servers, had a good few goes, first of all got the connreset error followed by the lost connection to host error, then everytime i tried after that i simply got the lost connection to host error after between 5 and 10 seconds of being in the server, even trying an empty server caused the same behavoiur, all the time cmd pingtest was running, sent 350+ packets with 0% loss speeds between 200-350ms all the way through, so it looks like i can ping the MS fine, but its something in between causing this, which must mean servers, all of them, as i have tried at least 20 servers, full or empty, demo or s1 or s2, makes no difference, still happens, very odd indeed

LOL i had forgotten all about that :huepfenic.

Made EVEN funnier when clubland TV went wrong and jizzed in my pants ended up being played at least twice back to back!

I totally agree, despite the questionable stuff he has posted, and the silly things he has written in the past, he really isnt the same in real life as he could come across by his posting style and content on here, i found him to be a genuinly pleasant lad who knows whats what and had his head screwed on right with a good senisble and logical attitude considering his young age.

I personally cant see any problem at all with divebombing myself, presuming there is no contact of course, a typical racing thing that i for one would expect in something such as karts, quite a common place move i would expect?

I had it done to me plenty of times, but all i could think was, if it was possible for someone to divebomb me then i couldnt have been driving a tight enough line to start with.

Hmm, pingtest.net will not work for me, it errors half way through saying something about a firewall could be blocking connection (i checked, it isnt) or that their server has a problem.

But i can ping test anywhere i want using cmd which works fine...

I loaded up LFS the other day, chose a server, but then i got this error message...

TCP FATAL ERROR: CONNRESET
Lost connection to host.



So oh well i thought, just reconnect, and no TCP errors next time, but i cannot stay on a server for any longer than a few seconds, not even long enough to leave the pits and i have lost connection to host straight away, despite the fact that im not lagging at all (as far as i can tell, little green bar in bottom left is moving as it should a few times a second, not going into the red or anything) so its very odd and annoying, as it hasnt done this before.

Speedtest result seems fine too, not brilliant as im running on a 3g dongle, but no ridiculously bad latency or anything.



How is it even possible to lose connection without lagging and timing out, surely thats the only way to lose connection??

As i said i have only had this start happening over the last few days or so and it makes no difference what time of the day/night i play, weather i use demo or s2 servers, weather i use full or empty servers, no difference, the same thing happens on all of em after between 10 and 15 seconds, lost connection to host and thats it.

Any ideas anyone??

As for the blurry writing, try adjusting the mip bias in the graphics menu of LFS, the text/interface slider is the one you need, moving it left should sharpen things up.

My videos are being uploaded as we speak, although they all seem to be of the drinking at jasons, no karting at all!

Do we have any luck as yet with regard to a picture with everyone named, as all my vids have a few names plus lots of ??? as im not sure who's who and i would like to add everyone who was captured into the description at some point, ill just edit em in once i know.

Well im home now, an excellent weekend which was very enjoyable, good food, good drink, good company, the karting was obviously epic too!

Thankyou arox123 for the brutal t-bone shot which resulted in an industrial sized bruise too, but i caused it by locking the rear up coming into a turn when arox was planning an overtake, so i ended up parking myself side on with the front of the kart against the tyres when arox was probably less than 3 feet away from me, so he had nowhere to go apart from through me.

Huge sums of thanks princess bexter for very kindly doing the driving there and back, and to jason for throwing his home open to all of us drunken lunatics and his brilliant hospitality all weekend too, you are an excellent host my friend, turkey is a legend!

Unfortanately, due to me exceeding my fair use policy (crappy 3g dongle) all i can do on my pc is browse the web, no downloading files, uploading files, or watching videos, so my various vids of drunken people from saturday night will take a little longer than i had hoped to get them online, i will be comandeering mum and dads pc for that.
