I'm getting annoying crashes with RBR... most often it happens at the start of a stage when the camera is panning around the side of the car. The whole PC completely freeses, and the sound plays a continous loop. I have to manually reset the PC, and the game doesn't write a crash dump...
We could do mid 38's with no added weight. With added weight, it is bloody hard to even get close to 38's.
I looked at the chart Appie. Seems that the FZR and XRR would now be perfectly balanced if the stints were to be the same length. However, the XRR can do 4 more laps, without really going much over 2:40, which is obviously an advantage.
Well, if that's the case, then the FZR is nowhere, because in eTM (patch X) the fastest FZR was low 38, and there is no way you can match that now with R3's...
"Differential - There are several different types of differential. Locked, open, clutch pack LSD, viscous LSD Locked differential - Both wheels rotate at the same speed in all situations. In general this gives 100% power to the road, with the drawbacks of corner entry (lift off) understeer, and corner exit (power on) oversteer. Open differential - Each wheel is free to rotate independently. In general this gives corner entry oversteer, and corner exit understeer. Clutch pack LSD - The power setting controls how much locking percentage is applied when power is being transmitted from the engine. The coast setting controls how much locking percentage is applied when the engine is producing a braking effect. The preload specifies the minimum torque difference between the two wheels required for them to rotate independently. A setting such as 800 Nm therefore results in the differential behaving like a locked differential in most situations. Viscous LSD - The higher the setting, the stronger the relationship is between the two driven wheels."
I don't think it makes that much difference to your laptimes, and I'm trying to get into a habit now of lifting a little to keep the clutch nice and strong (especially in other cars).
I have no problem with balancing but only if it's fair.
Edit: Yes Dreaf, in patch X (where we agree the cars were nicely balanced) Jonesy's fastest race lap in eTM was 2:38.85, and Nils was 2:38.08 in the FZR. That's nearly 0.8 seconds difference.
