The tracks in LFS look very very realistic, but the cars are really lacking. I don't think that many more polygons are needed, but some better lighting and mapping effects.
To be fair Leprekaun, saying things about your good ability (whether true or not) isn't going to get you support from the forums...
But anyway, anything you say now is just digging you deeper. Who cares what people say? If you know how good you are then that's what counts surely?
Edit: If you believe you are the best, that's good, as you will be better in LFS because of it, but it isn't going to get you many fans by saying it on the public forum.
I don't think talent plays no part whatsoever, I think if you have less "talent" than someone else, you will need to concentrate/practice harder to challenge them.
However I don't think talent is as much a significant factor as people think, and lack of it can be overcome with concentration, belief and determination.
From the reviews they look very good for the price. But if you want reliability get something like Antec, 400W should be enough IMO, on amazon or something.
If you can't see it on the power unit, you may have to unscrew the outer case of the tower, then unscrew the power unit from the case. The label with the information will be on one side of the PSU.
How many watts is the PSU not what voltage, something like 400 W would be enough.
And those parts are good, including that CPU, it says only 1.6 GHz but like someone said the architecture is better, and plus it can be happily overclocked to 3.2 GHz, which could be equivilent to 6 plus GHz P4.
Lol, true that has happened to me also, but I was generalising.
Oh and BTW if some people give up trying to do something, it won't always be because they don't think they can do it, it can be because they have had enough of trying.
zeugnimod: Why think like that? You are human, whoever is also human, so why go around thinking you will NEVER beat them?
P.S. If talent does exist, I think it just means some people with less "talent" (possibly me? I don't know) need to try harder. But this is all a theory.
Granted if you have more "talent", you can get better quicker, but "less-talented" people can still get there, it just may take longer and more effort. But the golfers you talk about will never get better because they think they won't / can't get any better. Put it this way, I've never thought to myself, "I can't do that" unless it was physically impossible for me to do so.
Edit: In the AutoX competition, after the first few days I couldn't get under 1:06.11 after many many laps. I rethought a day or so later, looked at how I could improve, and shaved another 2 seconds off. I'm no god, but neither is anyone else, which is why 20 odd people are quicker than me at the moment.
Leprekaun actually makes a good point. Talent is overrated IMO.
I disagree with him when he says ANYONE can be the best, but if you go around thinking that you will never beat "so and so" because they are simply better than you, that won't get you anywhere.
There is no driver who is the best and doesn't believe he/she could be. "Aliens" are only human just like you or me, and to beat them, you must believe that you can beat them.
As for everyone hits there own limit, that's wrong. If they think they can't go faster than they probably won't. However if they believe they still can, and look at what they are doing wrong etc, then they will go quicker. Of course it all takes practice and determination though.
Erm, Hamilton had everything to unlearn from a GP2 car, which is quite significantly different. I really don't understand your hate of both Hamilton AND Alonso.
+ 1 from me for the cockpit only view. I believe wheels only gives an unfair advantage.
HOWEVER, like others have said, the camera position needs some flexibility, I move it forward slightly so I can see more of the road from the windscreen.
Awesome qualifying! Couldn't believe how Kimi beat Alonso with that error on the last corner. Then Hamilton comes and destroys everyone! I have a feeling he is lightest on fuel though.
Edit: Unless you did mean the rFactor devs, I'm not sure, anyway if you do, well they have provided a good base for modders to work from, but they are still making money off other peoples effort (the rFactor devs). I always remember one of the rFactor devs say something like "you can only drift a car with an appropriate setup" which is just not true..
No, it shifted his body to the right, so his head missed the steering wheel, and therefore didn't stop until his skull cracked where the neck joins. He chose not to use the hans device, and payed the price. Why the hell anyone would choose not to use a safety device designed to reduce the risk of death is totally beyond me.
