mm thats true, im at school, guesin the professor and other students might get a little wtf'y if i whiped out a steering wheel during the middle of lecture...speaking of that i should really listen to what he is saying..........
Line: 7 I can burn in a really good line and be glued to it and start nocking out fast laps.
Consistancy: 4 This is my sour spot, i'll run good on lap and on the next try to hard and completly screw up.
Racecraft: 6 I know when to let someone go and I always do, maybe not enough when im on the lead lap though, I usually go pretty hard if its for position, usuall a little to hard..but with my dial up i tend to try and stay a few feet away just in case
Overall 6 (rounded up cause the emu told me to) I feel I have really improved over time, and I feel that if i could get better connection i'd be able to race with the best of em
Sometimes its just easier to make a sub thread inside a thread, I don't see a problem with that when the topic was so off the wall anyway, unless gunn has a problem with it of course
Its a game based on emulating real life though, so we cant get to carried away, I think the more race car oriented version of the LX6 would be the best bet. High powered, still little downforce, but little drag too, and some semi slicks
Speed the bridge is out ahead! The bridge is out? Yeah but i have good news! I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to geico! ....:O.....................
I think its all caused by the newness factor, when demo days were here, it was all demo cars all the time, then the TBO cars came along in s1 and everyone scooched over to them, then the mrt came along...now the gtr cars...once the newness wears off im sure things will even out again, either that or there will be a "movement" towards a differnt class, its to hard to focus and dedicate all your time to perfecting all the classes of cars haha, so mostly as far as i have seen its been 1 or two at a time..
I would like to see the xr's redone, i think that platform is what is really missing from the LFS lineup because those cars are a little ragged to drive, i would love to see it more in the form of the 240sx (not biased or anything ) with maybe a little less power, move the engine back a little, and a more complicated/better handling suspension system.
It seems like its very easy to turn, but then if you slip off course a bit and nab some grass it lets loose and you realize that there is a lot of tension in there, the FF overall does need some work though, the effects seem very random and not very connected to "bumps" in the track, but the overall tyre force feedback is very good
I love the F08 at westhill, its a true challenge to go fast there and not catch some grass and spin out, but there are a few turns that could really use some tall/harsh curbing on the outside to help prevent grass spinning.
I wouldnt want ALL sports cars, sometimes you have to drive comfortably :P
1. Dodge Viper GTS-R (GT2 edition, made in 1998, white/blue stripes)
2. Aston Martin DB9
3. Infiniti G35 (cruiser)
4. Datsun 240Z (original condidion, none of that V8 stuff)
5. 1993 240sx fastback with RB26TT(skyline motor, yes it fits) Stock body/interior
6. Dodge Viper Competition Coupe (racer)
7. Koenigsegg CCR
8. Dodge Ram SRT-10 (hey, might to haul somthing other than (just) ass sometime)
9. Holden UTE SS (I have a thing for el caminos, close to a moder one as I can get)
10. Nissan 300ZX Z32, TT, another cruiser.
I hate to rip off GTR, but the cars could really use some tranny whine too , specially at high speed, If i'm pushin mine reall hard i hear it rather than the engine because i have a normal exhaust (which i assume most of the road cars in LFS do, but it doesnt seem it..whole nother subject though).. expecially if you let off the gas without pushing the clutch...WRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....
