Well, you have the sammme problem as I had as far as I can tell.., only way to fix them is to take them apart and find the two sensors, and take the little stick that looks like a --o and put that into the pot, and glue it in, then put them all back together and you'll never have another problem with them untill they become unglued...for some reason they neglected to glue them from factory, if they had just done that there would be no problem.. but the software "fixes" are just band aids, that wont actually fix the problem just cover it up till it gets a lot worse..wish i still had em i'd do a photo tutorial for ya but i dont, but if ya need help just give me a holler

I'm sure they were just feathering it in, but that is about 5k rpm more than the current engines run and it has a much less raspy sound to it to me...sounds like a turbine haha

Next year mate I have video around somewhere of the cosworth V8 if you'd like to see/hear it, sounds very odd

Quote :from 2006 season, Formula 1 will use 2.5 litre V8 engine compared to 3 litre V10 used in 2005.

They are cutting the balls off the F1 cars and making them run like 2Lish V8's..

other than the fact they rev to 20k rpm that is pretty simular to the F08, but F1 cars definatly make more downforce..

In my humble opinion, i feel that the tires leaving some sort of mark in the grass/dirt would increase the realisim/wear look a little more than random skid marks..like ruts in the grass after you drive in it, would make it seem like the dirt is really dirt the sand is really sand ect, rather than just a physics reaction a visual reaction too

Quote from Gabkicks :my framerate in the old one is strange bounces around from 38-50 while in s2 it hardly ever goes under 59. (i have it limited to 62fps)

Thats because the programing is that much better now haha...it was a little (lot?) rough back in the day, but nobody cared cause we didnt know any better :P

Quote from BargeArse :2 shots of my in car view 2nd one a bit off centre.

I sit way far back from the wheel compared to that, dont like to hover the wheel in case of an accident, i'd rather not smash my face to bits haha, i'm sure it gives ya more leverage though

Quote from Takumi_Project.d :the easy solution would be to limit it to the default setups only "hard track" or "rallycross"

they are base neutral kind of setups that aren't really good at anything, but not too bad all round.

hmm, maybe Race_1 and Rally_1, because hard track and rallycross are pretty bad...but limiting it could be a good way to go

Quote from ksa_land :Hi guys,

Well, I drove the MOMO Racing wheel too.

After 3 months the pedal problem appeared

The Logitech-support answered my e-mail:

......bla bla bla bla....................bla bla......
....................
You find the Logitech MOMO Racing Pedals Update here : http://www.wingmanteam.com/latest_software/beta_main.htm .

If this doesn't help download the following file: http://www.wingmanteam.com/files/Tools/DXTweak2/DXTweak2.exe .

First link worked well for me

BUT belief it or not.
The day appeared. S2 alpha was out.

First lap at Kyoto National with FOX....and arrrrrgh
The pedals freaked out from one moment to the other. illepall
Besides me too :icon23:

So nothing else helped since then.
But I got my money back because the wheel was just nearly 1 year old.

So I expect the DFP this week.

I hope I can help some of you.

cu

Sounds like you had the same problem I had, if the pots were glued you woudnt have had any more problems, but i guess since you got ur money back its no big deal haha

Cockpit, driver, wheel with the fov just about where the drivers side mirror ends, for safteys sake, if i had that thinger that changes your head rotation i'd move up closer though, but im poor :P

With my logitech momo pedals it turned out not to be the software or drivers, it was that the sensors came out of their pots, and were consatly changing calibration to try and match that and it just wacked out, so most of the time i wouldnt get full throttle, so i took them apart and plastic glued the little buggers in there and never had another problem with that...then i ran over the connector with my chair..and that was the end of that...Sidewinder wheels now :P

Go to options>Controls

or use < and > to adjust the force feedback during a race.

Oh yeah guys, spectacular suggestion, I totaly agree with that one...

Quote from Madman_CZ :any adjustment you make makes difference to lfs setups.. one you find a setup you feel confortable with you can really fine tune it so that when you change anything ...the slightiest changes make massive differences

but not particularly differences you can feel, specially in a road car, because the underpinning handling characteristics of the car show through before hand...

This is why i think it should definatly be an option, because some people may not like being forced to use someones setup at all because it wouldnt fit their driving style at all, but then again some servers could use more of a "basic race setup" that isnt necesairly the fastest, but is generaly comfortable, just creates two very differnt forms of racing...and I would most definatly enjoy both, just like in nr
DodgeRacer

In reality ive noticed nr2003 setups are much differnt from person to person than in LFS more than the other way around. That could be because the lfs cars are more street based and dont have as many tiney finute adjustments, but i dunno...i still think it would a good idea for LFS too

Maybe you are going into a server that only has one or two cars available...meaning they want you to use those cars only during this race to keep it fair some of the are open to all cars but not many, use the car grid system in the multiplayer screen to see what cars are available in that server
