Try reducing the steering lock (in the pits setup menu) to spread the stick movement over fewer steering degrees, e.g. from 30 to 20 or from 20 to 15, depending on the car.
You rarely, if ever, use full lock while racing.
This will result in 'slower' steering.
It's not a fix for the increased sensitivity, but it should help to compensate and maybe get you back where you were before.

I did a quick search and found someone having a similar problem with TV Director but nothing specifically on PitSpotter, so if I've missed an existing thread, apologies
I can't seem to use PitSpotter with Patch X.
I keep getting: "InSim: first byte in packet does not match size"
I'm assuming that this might be due to incompatabilities with the new InSim, but I'm not sure.
Does anyone know, is there a work around for this, or can it only be solved with an update for PitSpotter?
Hopefully it wouldn't involve too much work to create a random light/wind generator, although obviously only Scawen would know for sure.
I wonder if he could work it like he did with the random start light timing?
Ultimately though, weather and lighting changes during longer races would be really cool. Lots of opportunities there for a genuine use of pit stops and tyre selection if it changes from dry to wet or vice versa mid race (asked for lots of times already, I'm sure ).
If you get the chance, why not try a little experiment.
Next time you're out in the car with your dad, and you need to go 'round a roundabout (we're lucky - we got those in the UK ) make a note of the speed you actually go 'round at.
Best of all, try and find a large A road/motorway junction roundabout where the radius is similar to the Turn 1 bend on the Blackwood circuit, then you can compare.
You might be surprised at just how slow (in terms of actual mph) you go round bends in real life before the tyres start to scuff and the car starts to drift out towards the curb.
(Sorry, can't remember exactly which cars are in the demo - it's been a while )
EDIT: OK, sorry. Just checked - it's not
The reason I asked is that the UF 1000 can be a bit of a so-and-so 'round bends until you get used to it and I was gonna suggest trying another car ... oh well
Sounds like it's prolly your wheel settings plus a bit of 'no G Force-itis'
That's what I thought you meant, however when I add that to the 'Target:' string, I get an error message which says that the name specified in the Target box is not valid and to make sure that the path and file name are correct.
I've tried both with and without a space between 'lfs.exe' and '/insim ...' and with both backward and forward slashes but I still get the error message.
Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

EDIT: Aaah, think I've got it now.
It needs to be "c:\games\LiveForSpeed\lfs.exe" /insim=29999
Because the autorun function of PitSpotter is disabled, it is now required to start LFSspotter and LFS seperatly. So that LFSspotter can connect to LFS InSim Portit is required to add the parameter "/insim=29999" (as given in LFSspotter cfg) to the LFS startup link.
Where exactly do I need to type in "/insim=29999"?
I'm not sure what is meant by the 'LFS startup link'.
Sorry for being a bit dim here (but this is the first time I've tried to use XFire) but ...
LFS is in the list of games OK - no probs there, but there is no/are no LFS servers listed in the left hand panel (Servers list tab) even after I've fired up both LFS and XFire.
Should there be?
We're only trying to use the voice chat, not the text chat so do we just communicate via XFire as a separate program, or does XFire still need to somehow 'link into' LFS like it obviously would for text chat?
