As we don't have horns in the openwheeler (allthough they still have handbrakes which is unrealistic as well) can we have Hand-Move animations...
like we often see in Formula 1 when a lapper does not move

again, i am not talking about the nutter rank

i like my boss but, if he switches off LFS in any kind of way, i will go with him into a bar and make him drunk or worse...

I've just flew over the statistics and it tells me the RAC is the car with the less usage in the game. What's wrong with it? Why is nobody driving that sucker?

Now that my sim chassis (with cup holder & mini fridge) is complete I dont even spend any xtra time in the shop.

Monday the biggest issue in in my pathetic lil life was that my legs were crampy from sunday nights seating position.

I selfishly built the chassis for me without any adjustments not thinking at the time that I would be living in it!

Cut, weld, drill, paint, waste time!! (Time spent working on the pc or chassis is time that otherwise could have been spent racing LFS.)

Then it came to me

A POWER SEAT


After a trip to the local bone yard, $50, some hardware, a few welds and a couple of hours it now has a 2004 GM 5 way power seat base.

And the best part is it runs off my UPS battery.

I see another 20# coming

Maybe I can add a tread mill next

if this priority thing is happening: user should be able to set a priority profile, so on some tracks pitstop are more important then someone is going into the grass. and a user just has to set priorites in a .cfg-file such as: overtaking=1
piting=2
crashing=3
...

just about 5-8 basic possible actions...

the rcm clear message does only clear RCM messages. but not the "wrong direction" message. i think this is send not by the server but by LFS itself (i don't know)

it's a layout on regular tracks, so autoX is not an option.


if "wrong direction" can't be switched off i will have to substitude one of the races in the league =>

noone???

Hey guys, is it possible to switch off the Wrong Direction Message anyhow?

but it has to display RCM-Messages. i have a layout where people drive partly in the wrong direction of the track. which is annoying and on top of that, RCM messages don't overwrite them. so when i set a pacecar phase or whatever half of the people can't see it.

cool, so you erase your times and then start doing pbs over a certain amount of time, or can i for e.g. take part there when i have all times?

could be a nice competition:
1st step: erase your PBs
2nd step: do as fast as possible all car/track combos so you have a pb there
3rd step: count all times together

the fastest is the winner

yep 2 laps you have to do.

in 1st lap it tells you: this is the first lap on this track.

the "just" is about 900 tracks you can calculate how long it can take to have it (mrt on the longer tracks can take you a freaking long time...)

but i will change that... btw. is there a guy in lfs who has a pb on every single of the 9hundretwhatsoever car/track combos in lfs?

to be honest i am pretty prowd of being able to race online. allthough i live now together with my girlfriend, and when ever she sees me racing she gets a crisis and tells me i should do something with my "real" friends (when i moved together with my girlfriend my "real" friends stayed where they live of course 50km away)

so i got into an agreement with my gf that i race every monday evening in lfs and not the other evenings (now i host my onw league and don*t get to race that much on monday too...)

allthough i sometimes race during the day because i am working in my home office)


okay, what i wanted to say is: yep it can be a problem for some outsiders if you tell them: hey i am doing lfs online and stuff. but i think if you make clear for them it is a hobby you will have no problems. (at least you can say you are not that adicted like the world of warcraft players... but that shot can go in the wrong way...)

i want a t-shirt: i drove almost 70.000km in lfs and all i got was S2 alpha.

BTW. i think we will get some second bodys for some of the cars really soon...

yep a complete "pack" would be nice! hope all cars don*t sound like they have a turbo in it...

brakes +1
glass +1 but i think a realistik braking model of the glass parts would be nicer
dirt +1 (in bf1/fo8/Fox the visor could get dirty and be cleaned in pits or so...)

when i now switch to on-screen mirrors, i don't have the real mirrors anymore. even not the both on the side. this isn't good in my opinion.

aha, and what is this "Unofficial Addons" part of the forum for? the mods to change your carsounds, change the interior, change backlights, change driversuits,cmon you can even put a dvd player and screen in your car...

so the one thing i still miss (allthough we all know it is possible:nod is still missing...

in general i use the V key to switch through views... so i don't need alt+f1... at the moment.
