i get sometimes on oval, every 2nd time i connect on a blackwood GP the message: SHADOW ERROR.

and then all the car shadows are gone.

we've postponed the 360 lap event for at least one month due to the lack of drivers. we will have the 8th event (3.6 Knockout) like it is scheduled.

your machine has about 2 to 3times the power of my computer (1.5GHz Centrino laptop with 512ram and an nvidia gForceFX5...)

if you got problems with lfs, your computer is ****ed in some ways.... i think there is something wrong with your grafix drivers...

i just wanted to inform you, we will have a second qualifying tomorrow thursday at 19.00 UTC. (1 hour only). everyone who wants to qualify (and has not qualified so far) is welcome.

i want to inform you also about a poll in the chitchatclub subforum for race 7 where we discuss when we will have the 360 lapper. by tomorrow after the 2nd qualifying i will decide according to this poll.

okay maybe this was not a good idea, but what about "reject connection during first 30 seconds of a race" so no skins are downloaded during that time which is one of the most reasons why people lag in T1 and cause heavy crashes.

would be nice to have something like a bridge so we can make tracks like in the "race of champions" which is very exciting to watch and drive.

i would suggest "memories" as background music *g*

i am not talking about "every" server.

if this is possible, then why not let the grid rearange in the correct racing order?

"overtake the car in front"
"let the car behind you pass"

something like that...

one more improvement suggestion: an option to let people join a server only if there is a brake at the moment and no race going on.

serverside pacecar triggered by admin

its just a simple AI script. car stands at the end of pits, when triggered, pacecar drives out (full course yellow), keeps a speed of max 150km/h. drives 3-5 laps (depends on track and settings), drives back into pits (race free again).

overtaking a car which does not cause a yellow flag = spectate
overtaking the pacecar = spectate
crashing the pacecar = spectate

option: pits closed while pacecar out, pits closed in lap 1 while pacecar out,...

make it hex and not predetermined!

i don't think such an "organisation" is necessary. user vote should be enough to ban people from servers. and nothing else. this is like self-justice and not a basis-democracy like it should be.

looks cool, allthough i like default tarmac better... the packs tarmacs looks so rFactorish...
