And where would limiting the turbo pressure or down-tuning the engine give you advantage at? Useless feature if you ask me. Everyone would just max the power, or use the best setting for each track.

I don't like his company, it's business methods nor software (well, directx ffb is cool), but a bug in a software isn't that big deal. Things like that just happen.

If you had read this whole thread, you'd know that race cars don't usually have anti-lag, and would propably agree that better turbo modelling would be a better way to fix XRR's lag.

Where would you draw the line at? Would it be ok to use a car hack that replaces mirrors with water melons or BF1 model with a shopping cart?
I'd backup my skins, setups, custom textures etc, and download a clean copy of LFS. Propably easier and quicker than trying to find the problem itself...

Simulators sell a very small minority of racing titles. And of simulators, all the 6 "ISI-engined-copies-of-each-other" obviously rule the mainstream market.
So not a big portion, but enough to feed 3 developers
IRL heel and toe is easier, because the brake is pressure sensitive. It stays about the same position even if the pressure varies a little during the throttle blip.
When I had a red momo force, the squash ball mod made the brake so stiff at the far end of travel, that it felt pretty much like a pressure sensitive pedal.
I haven't even seen a G25, but if you can mod the brake very stiff, I believe it helps heel & toeing.

Even though that's propably just an analogy, not a serious suggestion, it would have a negative effect on playability. Being able not to switch sides between races would not. I agree, that on public servers it doesn't matter that much, but yet I can't think of a reason why it should be allowed. Maybe "for fun", or "testing purposes" - well, allow it on offline use then. (That would also statisfy the hotlapper scene.)
That can be solved, depending on how the restriction is implemented. A compromise once again.

Having to do something stupid and unrealistic to be competive - yes, I'd call that a problem. Same logic also applies to every problem you listed. Using less wheel turn radius or autoclutch is quite the same, but understandable in terms of accessibility.
It definitely improves realism. If you have a race car IRL, you don't frigging swap the seat and controls for different tracks...
I know it won't make much, but neither does full throttle starts. However, don't we all want the low speed tyre physics improved? Maybe not on high priority, but anyway.

Like Gener_AL said, it would be easy to implement limitations in country changing, like we have limited unlocks per month. Every 6 months or so would be fine imo. Driver side option could also be completely separate from country set.
