I strongly disagree with server side setup locking, if we are talking about public ones. If the server is passworded, then go for it, but letting each host define own limits would be a total chaos, like Ca18Slider described.
But we desperately need global limitations for the road cars at least!
[Luke]But sports and news should be free for all, Obi-Wan Kenobi! Every single person that uses these streams instead of paying for the dark lord with white hair makes us stronger.[/Luke]
Sopcast is a P2P broadcasting software that also works in linux, but I can't recommend it since the commentary is chinese and quality worse or similar than youtube.
If you're faster than AI, you're definitely fast enough for online racing. Don't try to keep up with the others right away, pick an easy car & track combo and just drive at your own pace trying to keep out of the way. You'll finish in the midfield in no time!
What comes to your issue, have you tried downloading a fresh copy of LFS? That's an easy quick fix for many problems, since you don't need to install anything.
Ok, his last post indicated the reason (a harsh personal insult).
But I've often checked the last posts of a banned user and saw nothing that would be a reason to ban, because obviosly the posts were deleted (sorry, can't think of any usernames right now).
This isn't the first time I notice a forum regular getting banned without ever seeing or being able to find the reason. If moderators are kind enough, they could give us some answers in this OT-thread.
To get the ball rolling, why was dawesdust_12 banned?
As I agree that BL is a good track (especially now with the new 1st sector and less width), I think that this just proves MataGuyla's point about humans rather than Blackwood's superiority as a racing track.
Yes, a new config!
I'm really interested in fantasying about more Aston tracks.
(BTW there's this one part where the two corners join apart, you're supposed to avoid head-on collisions there. A Little bit of challenge you know)
If the thread title is not descriptive, or if it mentions "new" ideas, you can be pretty sure that the suggestions are mostly rubbish.
1. A rather fresh idea, I'd like it! A "cool" intro of actual gameplay that would show some action from drag to drifting and rallycross and F1 racing, and stress the awesome physics.
2. Some New Update Ideas?
3. +- 0, I don't think the music is important, and have turned it off. But on the other hand, I'm quite sure it will change along the way to S3 final.
4. Lucklily I don' t know what the hell do you mean, but the words tuning and drifting scare me. Also see number 2.
5. You have so many colors in your name that it becomes too long? Sorry, I'd rather not to see that even longer and more colorful above your car. But as all the teams use a tag, I'd like this one integrated to LFS World. Every team could choose a 5 letter tag, which would be attached automatically in front of the drivers who are defined as members.
6. Aren't autocross objects enough? Would you like the devs to build ramps, nets and loops for you instead of collision physics or new tracks.
7. Longer walls +1
8. A simulation tyre? Would it simulate a 7 year old all-season tyre?
Well, all of them weren't rubbish, but you could still guess from the title, what kind of thread this would be. -I think

I work as an ICT professional (even though I don't have enough craftmaship or balls to call myself one, maybe some day) for a company that provides IT and network solutions for all kinds of customers from small business to big industrial corporations.
@kamo2000, that would be technical support I guess. Almost same thing as I do.
