Quote from Iasonas : Again, im a complete noob and know nothing!
Thanks for any response i get, i did do a search and couldnt really find anything helpful. Also if this helps, i use Mouse for gas and break and KB for rest and i always play in 3rd person view, dunno if this is bad or not.

Well, you I see you presently are on Swain, which is the best drift server out there. Hang out with the regulars and it will fall into place.

Also, save up for a wheel.

You might get a kick out of this: Burt "BS" Levy, author of the book "The Last Open Road" made up some funny interpretations of flags:

GREEN: The course is clear! Start Racing! (unless you already have).

YELLOW: Someone else has screwed up for a change! Possible primo overtaking opportunity!

DOUBLE YELLOW: Slam on your brakes immediately without checking your mirrors. Whoevers behind you will think twice about ever passing you again!

BLUE: Theres somebody right behind you trying to get past. Turn down your mirrors and block like hell!

YELLOW/ORANGE STRIPES: Check your oil pressure gauge. You might not have any.

WHITE: Slow moving or emergency vehicle ahead. Proceed at full speed and see how close you can come without hitting it.

BLACK: Either the fellow just ahead of you or the one behind has done something bad. Also known as the "Who, me?!?" flag.

BLACK/ORANGE ROUNDEL: (meatball) Something has fallen off your car. Slow down and look for it.

RED: The person you hit has spun and caught fire and is blocking the track, so the race has to be stopped.

CHECKER: Time to start thinking up excuses!

Most of the laps he put in are at Blackwood or Aston Club with the FOX....interesting....I smell a RR server dispute.

Maybe.

I think we can agree on this:

Men get into accidents because they are risk takers.

Women get into accidents because they are indecisive.

Quote :So I ask you guys, is something wrong with me? Is it a physiological thing inside of me? Or do I have O.C.D? Or am I simply a car obsessed teenager?

Nothing wrong at all. You are passionate and intrigued by the automobile. I fell in love with cars about age 12, and now I am 31. What is great is when you happen upon another car nut like yourself. you have this...bond with them.

Cars are sexual, powerful, beautiful, coy and unattainable...just like a woman. And as you get older, your tastes in cars, like women, change too. Right now you probably have quite a love affair with that Supra! I remember when I was around your age it was the Porsche 959...what a vehicle.
Right now I am starting to appreciate sports cars from 50-60 years ago, or cars that are just pure art, like a Bugatti T57. That is sex on wheels for me. Sometimes it is not the power, but the design of them, like Alfa Romeos; you can tell the person(s) who designed them really deeply love the automobile. Or sometimes I like the boldness and flamboyancy of the design, like old Citroen or TVR's.
But I do love the power cars can generate; I remember driving a 1964 Pontiac Catalina SD with a 421 with 3 4 barrels on it, and a 4 speed manual. It was so ....raw, the car shuddered and snarled like a feral animal was underneath the hood wanting to kill me. I could FEEL the power through my body, like it was something alive and channeling its energy into me.

Alright, I'll stop babbling...for now.

I am a midfielder, also. That way, I can watch the chaos of turn one in front of me and (usually) survive.

I like being in the middle, it gives me an incentive to try harder.

Quote from Riders Motion :Answer of a non-drifter

Next one please!

Uh oh. Another drifter who only sees the world in black and white...remember THAT thread?

Quote from fragile_dog :I think drifting was first used in rallying..........

It has always been a part of motorsports, until recently when the cars got better tire and suspension. I have on the computer a Trans Am race from 1970 at Riverside Raceway; the only way they COULD get through turns was drifting!

I have found that adjusting the sound while playing a replay gets the best sound, instead of just sitting stationary and revving it.

Oh boy. I am going to have to find this server and have some fun. Actually, if the most powerful car to be had is the XRT, I'll probably be bored....

I think we should consider this: Something that was supposed to hidden was exposed. The orginal developer of it, instead of blowing his top, has essentially said "well, you found it. Have fun with it!"

Bottom line is, Scavier puts ALOT of faith into us, and this really show that we as the players of the game, are so very important to them. Instead of trying to wipe out this thread, and to silence the ones who know it, Scawen just leans back and sees what happens. So for anyone who keeps crabbing about when S3 is to be released, before you send a reply, think of this thread, ok?

I know this wont last forever, but WOW! I am having fun with this!

Quote from Viper93 :Is it just me or did the story change?

Quote from theblackrabbi : BTW does anyone know how to take the passanger seat out of a 97 altima

= a 1997 Altima? illepall :detective:bananadea

A 1997 Altima, and I assuming its the L30 body, not the U13U body, making it the plainest, ho hum Altima ever. And the engine? A KA24DE, 150 snorting horses from an engine cribbed from the D21 truck.

Can I get a PW3ND?

I get nervous at the begining, but since I am slow, my greatest strength is being able to find the nervous drivers in front of me, or the ones who drive while looking backwards; all I need to do is keep pressuring them without touching them and they are sure to make a mistake, usually braking too late and going wide.

^good point!

For me it is the FZR. It has pretty, yet agressive lines. Plus up until a few month ago I was terrified to drive it, so the FZR was for quite some time, that unattainable girl you finally get to date.

Quote from spankmeyer :I borrowed my friends 350D and after 30 mins of outdoor shooting my right hand was cramping seriously. The ergonomics are just shite on those small Canons, so I'm sticking with Nikon D80.

Nikon ftw +1
