-Substituting the word "please" with "plz". How difficult is it to type the extra three letters, and spell it correctly, you troglodyte, mouth breathing morons!
I feel better now.
-People who speak Spanish and all of it's sub languages and, when expressing that they are laughing, type out "jajajajajajaja", so to me it looks like some German went insane and essentially typed out "yesyyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes".

Reason : Irony correction.
The term, was first used in the Japanese automotive TV show, Hot Version, a side project of the motoring TV show, Best Motoring.
One of the presenters of either Hot Version or Best Motoring is a man named Keiichi Tsuchiya, aka "the drift king" aka "dorikin" aka "dori dori". He, along with Hot Version, is a technical supervisor to the anime series Initial D.
So, as usual, you can thank the Japanese for this term.
I am a very technical racer. I always brake at one point, take the the corner the same way over and over. I set up my cars with a tendency to understeer, as it is predictable and safe. I care less about winning, and more of reaching the goal intact. I let the hotheads and impatient ones cause chaos at corner one so I can breeze through.
My one flaw which is easy to exploit is that I brake early...I know when I am with good racers when they do not slam me in the backside; it also helps that my current racername is "!!! I BRAKE EARLY !!!".
My sole technique(s) is being able to save the tires by using modulated braking, and getting behind someone and putting pressure on them to make a mistake. Not hit them, but to make them nervous so I shake them out of their groove.
I only want an oval from America, so that I can sleep soundly at night knowing that I perpetuated another stereotype.
But seriously, I would like Road America, since it is beloved internationally, and it is a killer brakes and tires...you have to be skilled with not only racing but tire management.
Sorry for the lack of information on my part; I am ignorant with the terminology but I have heard the phrase used, but do not understand why "cross gearing" is advantageous.
Can anyone explain how this works? What are the advantages or disadvantages?
I am thinking it has to do with gear ratio and matching engine revolutions; in other words, if in second gear, the engine spins up to 7500 rpm, when shifted to third, it drops to 5500 rpm, then when shifted to fourth from 7500 rpm it again drops 5500 rpm, and so on.

Also to consider for the one's who defend FF drifting:
How many of you have done it in real life? **** Live For Speed, I want you to hop into a real car and do it. Right now. Prove it to me. Don't refer me to youtube videos or whatnot, cause it still does not back up the argument.
I want to see people who post in this thread take a corner in a FF car and, with minimally using the handbrake, maintain momentum and speed through a long corner.
Or for that matter, how many of you can actually drive legally??
You are right about that! I can do it in my WRX...if the road surface is wet. Otherwise, a scandanavian flick works wonders but the momentum only last for so long. AWD cars are for gripping the road, not tail happy theatrics.
Firstly, go to your G25 Logitech profiler. Select options, then global device settings. make sure that the option "report combined pedals" is UNCHECKED.
Now start up LFS. go to options, then controls. There is an option that says "Throttle/Brake Axes" select seperate.
Then click on Axes/FF. See if they work independently now. If not, use this setup I posted:
*EDIT* Make sure you click on whatever you want to assign it. For example, click on the button that says "clutch". Now press in the clutch. Do you see the slider bar in the far right bottom corner move up and down? When the clutch is fully engaged, is the bar at it's peak?
Just ran across this site, it converts jpeg files to vector files. Vector files are useful for skinning because they do not use pixels, but rather other geometric shapes, so that the images can resized larger or smaller with no loss in quality.
I would like to argue the merits of why the LX should be in this. Furthermore I would like to register a complaint on the inclusion of the front wheel drive FXO.
