Quote from Napalm Candy :Hello, this is my first post in this forum.

I has a G25, and S2 license, I take playing 2 months. I think, that is the better car simulator of world, i really like it! But, i think that is goodable.

- The sound is very very poor. It practically is in mono.

- The physics are the best, but when you drift, notes that are not real. I has a friend that drift with his real Subaru Impreza STi (here a video in montmelo track, Spain, www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHWrIHBPemQ ) He say, that is too easy to lost control when you slide or drift. In the game, the car can to drift just by to go to 40kmh and to lose the control easily, in the reality the tires has different adhesion, does not lose the control so progressively, but that he is much more imminent, and
they return to have faster adhesion, giving whip to the direction.

I know that is not a drift game, but if the drift is not like a real life, it not has a realistics physics.

- The tyre produces more smoke when drift, in the reality, and the full interior of smoke.

- I see that the tyre has a deformation, this is a nice detail. But not has
blisters or explode, only blow.

-When you run a race in game, the ground is not soiled of rubber of tyres.

-When you crash, the ground is not soiled with a pieces of the car.

-The crashes with the barriers are very very little realistics. The car flies and flies…

-The motor of the car always works well, although it cuts injection for more than 2 minutes and it is sobrewarmed up, or although you have an accident to 300Kmh

I hope that at least it is understood to me.

Greetings.

Instead of responding to each point that you have argued, I will tell you that this game is still in it's Alpha stage, meaning that it has yet to be completed. Please keep in mind that the development team is comprised of three people, so that progress may be slow, you can be much assured that when the final version of this game is completed, it will be of a satisfactory nature and will most likely address your concerns.

Your grasp of English is is very good, I hope that my response is easily translated.

100-200 hours to make. Fixed.
TO the movie masters:a question of quality.

I have Fraps, and I have Windows Movie Maker. Now I have an idea, a typed out storyboard, and a selling pitch to a certain individual who does coding for this game. It will take me an estimated 100-200 hours to make this, but when I do finish it, it will be spectacular.

Can I make something of quality with these two programs? What do YOU suggest? Adobe Premiere?

Keep in mind my patience is virtually endless, so I can deal with "sub standard" programs.

Quote from eight6er :thanks for the info lads, I'll keep at it so and see if it feels a bit more natural in a few days.

To be honest, I would give it a few weeks. Be patient, and you WILL be rewarded.

Screw the wankel, what we need is a diesel and a Miller Cycle engine!

Also, I bet a sawbuck that the majority of people who want a Wankel in this game are drifters and / or Initial D geeks. like me.

Being serious now, I have no interest in a torqueless engine in a road car.

But people are too ignorant on here, like you have V-8 oldschool carb guys hating on imports and saying that computers are nothing more than fancy gizmos, blh blah blah.

What a foolish and ignorant thing to say. You best sit down and learn your automotive history, boy.

If it gives Scavier money to continue this game as they have intended, I am all for product placement.

How about ads that are pertinent to the end user? Logitech, AMD, Western Digital, Motorola, netgear, etc. Might as well find advertisers that will buy their products.

EDIT: Incidentally, I had the most positive reply from the BBC, and the worst from Sky... If that smashes any stereotypes about archaic organisations and an innability to think forward I dunno, but it suprised me...

Makes sense since the BBC is a public station, whereas Sky is private.

You may have a herniated or slipped disc. Between every bone in your spine there is a rubbery disc that acts as a cushion between the bones; if they slip or are swollen the nerves in your spine go haywire, thus the pain. You need to trace back in your memory the past few days to find when, where and how this happened, it will help tremendously.

The bad news is that this pain will not go away easily. The good news is that you are Fifteen and your body can bounce back faster.

I think you should have a discussion with your parents to see both a doctor AND a chiropractor. Usually doctors will want to cut you up and give you pain medication, thus masking the problem. A chiropractor, if it can be done, will with time, move the spine back to where it needs to be. I myself have a very bad back, and starting to get arthritis in it, but with the help of a chiropractor it keeps the pain in check.

Pizza Hut (Mmmm... pizzas)

You need to come to America, specifically Chicago, to truly savor an excellent pizza! Did you know that Pizza Hut is part of the Pepsi trifecta of evil? It includes:

Taco Bell
Pizza Hut
KFC

Ever notice it always tastes good when you eat at one of the three, but about 4-6 hours later you have just awful, buttcheek clenching upset stomach and pains?

I double dare anyone here to eat at any of those food places for a week, and see how intimate you get with your toilet.

I think that it is slow because for the majority of us, it is summer. We go on holidays, or cannot be bothered to be cooped up all day inside.

Nothing wrong with and R32 Golf is there?

No...unless you fancy a overweight, gutless AWD car on a front wheel drive chassis with a poorly matched engine and stupidly large wheels. A car that looks good on paper, but is laughable and will be forgotten in the annals of automotive history. VAG failed. FAILED!!

......

FAILED!!

Quote from ajp71 :^^ Yeah Monoposto is usually the name given to open single seater championships, like Formula Libre but restricted to single seaters only. The Monoposto series in the UK is a club running various small single seaters, mostly winged and the US monoposto club is a club for historic single seaters ranging from small wingless cars to small block cars.

Ahhh...now I see the differences. Well, here in the US, Formula Ford and F1 cars from the 50's and 60's we call monoposto.
Monoposto FOX.

A monoposto car is an open wheeled formula without a front or rear wing. The disadvantage is obvious, but it would be really fun to learn how to drive fast without the aid of aerodynamics.

How about it? I am envisioning in the setup screen that you can turn off the rear wings like how you can have either roof or not with the UF1.

Quote from Jamexing :
I remember a car chase where a guy stole a Lancer Evolution and went through a spike strip, blowing all 4 tires whilst pursued by cops. He drove at a pretty constant speed of about 250+km/h when the tires were still on the rims. He then literally drove the tires off as police called off the ridiculously fast and dangerous ground chase, instead focusing all efforts on the helicopter chase. He went along on the rims at speeds between 160-180km/h, only to press on and wear them down to the brakes. He pressed on with the brakes on the ground, still going up to about 130km/h. Eventually he wore the brakes down and ground himself to a halt.

Thank you posting that. We WRX and STi drivers feel that a Lancer EVO is so over engineered and the above proves the point that you need zero skill to drive an EVO, only a fat pocketbook.

Muwhahahahah.

Perhaps. Watch some old BTCC races (before 2002...sigh), and you will see they get up on two wheels, too. I myself think it is pretty realistic.

better.

I think you may have missed the point, Krane is figuring ScaViEr can use it to realistically create damage to the cars in LFS.

Or maybe I missed the point. Yeah, probably.

Yah, I named my car Serenity

Maybe I am wrong, but it looks like oil smoke from the exhaust...like it has leaking apex seals.
