Some questions, not really for my diagnosis, but someone who may be of help:
-Did this happen when trying to get online to play, or offline?
-Did the error message in red say something to the effect of "JOOS ERROR"?
-Do you have any add on programs to enhance Live For Speed, like LFS LApper, Tweek, etc.
NOt to worry; someone will have an answer of some sort, but the more information that you are able to provide, the better the diagnosis. The Live For Speed Developers are I am sure quite happy to help, but give them time, and others time, to find the problem.
An A? Really I would have given it a B-, to be honest.
Now I am NOT saying this because I am trying to be a e-jerk. It is a good effort. But the sound was too inconsistent, and, I am a fan of vignetting, but some parts were a little over the top.
Your voice. I do nor know what your age is, but on that clip it was rather thin. Alot of people, in order to not come across as belligerent or loud, do not use the full potential of their voice. When speaking for a presentation, be it in front of a group of people or a narrative, speak in a way that keeps a person interested. You did a fine job of metering and using "colour"(instead of being flat and monotone), but for your next presentation, try this: speak from your stomach, not your throat. See how forceful that is. By controlling your stomach muscles, you can regulate the forcefulness of your voice, and with practice, you can sound like a presenter. Listen to Terry Wogan, or for that matter, BBC Radio 2. The DJs are talking very loud, but obviously the equipment can regulate the sound. Also, if you are able to, or able to find an audio recording program, is to crank up the compression.
If I could, I would record a snippet of how I talk; people tell me constantly I sound like a radio DJ. All I do is speak like I mentioned above.
I once dropped a large rubber band at work, and the shape it formed on the ground was an intriguing design for a track. I took a picture of it with my phone, but sadly I erased it. The shape was similar to the "Super Speedway" in Gran Turismo.
Yes, yes it is. And it should be for everyone who has invested in this game, hence the reason for this sub-forum. If Scawen is putting XX amount of time into this game so that when the game is finally released to his standards, which I think are quite high, one would assume that this issue would be of importance of him, no matter the insignificance of it.
Speaking of listening to what you like, I really enjoy the band Keane. Yes, I like Keane, and I am not ashamed of it. They are incredibly talented, make great music, and I am probably one the few straight men who like.
But I dont care!
@Bob Smith - after you mentioned Jazz, I had to listen to a few Mingus songs. BeBop Jazz is so cool, it's hot.
Ha ha...I remember when I was in my twenties and EVERYTHING was reeeeeal intense, MAAAAN. Once you get past the 3-0 mark you either learn to accept that the world isnt going to bend to what you like, and what you like alone, or you become a bitter, jaded a**hole.
Boris, I suspect your friends are going to be jaded and angry alot over trivial things throughout their lifes.
And really, if they were indeed your friends, they would accept that you like different genres of music than they do. It makes you better, well rounded person to explore all sorts of musical facets.
You know what? Find some more decent people to associate with. Life is too short for arrogant, pompous know-it-all twits.
I wish I could see more people post words like this, instead of gripe, especially when it comes to graphics.
I think alot of people, and I get a little annoyed when I keep mentioning this, forget that one human with a life outside of LFS is has done all the graphics, and that Eric is not content to just design and leave alone.
The next time you tear around Aston Historic or Kyoto Long, think about all the little details Eric has kindly done for the benefit of you, the player. Especially the ones who feel that their S2 licence also gives them the right to, and let's be blunt, annoy the three people who have made this game what it is today.
You are right! American politics are very much different than the rest of the worlds, so you must excuse me if it seems I am branding you as some sick freak. I myself am a Libertarian, a philosophy that many Americans believe in, but foolishly only elect either Democrat or Republican.
I will agree that there is non-partisan journalism here, that it is extremely biased towards liberal ideals and agendas, but with the guise of being objective. Haha, sure. But on the hand, our government has no control over it, which I think is wonderful, no matter how biased it is.
As it stands now, the media here have almost blinding, hate filled rage towards our current administration...like they did with Regan, and Ford, and Nixon...see the trend?
I believe that individuals, not big governments, have accomplished the most good in the world. The smaller the government, the less power they can wield over the people, as was originally intended by Americas founding fathers. In fact, read this, please:
To me, that is probably the most radical, free thinking idea that mankind has seen...and it still is to this day. Please read it twice to let it really sink in.
