I think there should just be an "in car numberplate", I don't know how else to call it. As you see them irl too. Just a little plate on the dashboard with the driver's name and flag on it. Can't find a pic.

Apparently it is useless to discuss something with people on a forum since it seems that most of the members are too closed-minded.

Something tells me you really didn't start this topic to hear opinions from other people. Wanting to hear opinions should indicate you are open to those other opinions. Yet, you seem to basically want to start a discussion to make your opinion known and to call people with a different opinion from yours close minded. You seem to feel the need to "convince" other people that what you like to do is at least or maybe even harder than what other people like to do. Why? Can't you just continue to do what you like, let other people do what they like and leave it at that?

Quote from AndreABG :well to save registry I can just export it and the changes announced on the linked page I can do by my own, but I don't like to until I understand how it works but the WinKill program looks nice, but not exactly matches my thoughts. When pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del theres a button to quit a process, and the function of this button should be accessible on command line too, just don't know how

You could also install TweakUI. It's available on the Microsoft website. It has an option to prevent apps from stealing focus. But it probably uses the same method Lotesdelere mentioned. But you won't have to touch your registry if you feel uncomfortable doing that. I've been using it for years and it's essential to me. I find it extremely irritating when apps take focus.

Actually, I'm developing a sim in which I simulate a team of devs that are making a sim in which a team of devs is simulated who are developing a racesim.

Instead post an opinion either yes or no that you would like new oval tracks and a correct BF1 engine sound

Very unlikely, a bit pointless and not that much faster.

Quote from theirishnoob :its just that when you gotta go to school then work you dont have a choice on how to spend your money

Why wouldn't you have a choice on how to spend your money?
Do you you mean go to school and go work after that or do you mean you can't work because you're in school?
Anyway, there's lots of possibilities to earn some money and time shouldn't be a problem since you obviously have time to play LFS
The demo is fine the way it is imo, and this discussion has been held so many times already.

Quote from Zachary Zoomy :I personaly would like the devs to make demo user banning by I.P. adress.

Like already said, it is done by IP. And that doesn't do much in the case of people with a dynamic IP.

Nice read Quite surprised Victor didn't know much about coding before getting on the team though. Makes LFSWorld all the more impressive though

I just meant completely shut down the program. I've used it just once so I don't know too much about BeSpoke. But I believe you can select the default wheels in BeSpoke? Maybe you just need to completely exit for it to work again?

I want a DB9. For £10.

You can't use BeSpoke online. Unless everybody on the server uses it and uses the exact same presets I believe. Did you completely unload BeSpoke when switching to default wheels?

Very close call between #2 and #6 for me. I'll have to go with #6 because I like how nice those two colors go together, reminds me of Williams's 2007 F1 livery

I don't think it's really all that related to specific servers. Every server has it's idiots. Just try not to let it get to you. After racing online for a while you start recognizing names, recognizing people who are nice and those who aren't.

You don't have to stop to let them pass anyway. Basically the lapper should determine when and where he wants to pass you. Ofcourse if you can make it easier for them that's fine, but it's actually much better if you don't deviate from normal racing lines much, certainly not in the middle of a corner. They have to pass you, you don't need to go out of your way to give them room. When they try to make a pass then it's just up to you to give them the room they need.

Just look around, try out other cars, other tracks. It's not much of an advice I guess, but I think it's the best way to go.

Quote from GruntOfAction :Well sorry for trying to be a help to the community.

What´s your problem? Are you always this easily offended? I merely said that a lot of people never look past "the big servers", which is a fact.

I only encouraged other server owners to report in this thread as well, so they could be included on your list so it could maybe persuade people to get to know other servers. Unless you want to limit yourself to CT, Oval and all the other stuff people already know of. None of my words were directed at you personally or your effort. So take a chill pill alright.

Just forget it. But when you have noobs making topics like "I just got S2, where should I start?" dont come crying to me for trying to save topic space.

I won´t. Have a nice day.

I never saw those old Aston screenshots and missed this thread before, but damn, I agree that´s the type of environment LFS could really use.
I always felt a forest type track would be great to have and give a great sense of speed.

So Eric, how about it?
