You're just a complaining person who almost only looks at things from the negative side (at least on this forum about LFS). You have this inexplicable need to keep on stating that the devs are doing things all wrong and how you think the game is dead and all that nonsense. It IS about attention.

Not that I feel no criticism should be given, but there's a difference between constructive, argumentative criticism and whining, discarding statements from the devs about their way of working.

you could download a trial version of photoshop or paint shop pro, or the gimp (which is free). I don't think the Gimp supports .dds files, but neither do photoshop or psp out of the box. The dds plugin for photoshop should work in psp too, maybe there's one for the gimp too.

Definitely -1000.
There´s just too many downsides for less (if any) benefits.

And besides, the question doesn't state it has to be a racing driver:

I don't see how LFS would get it just because rFactor did. They've got different agreements. And besides, it wouldn't really serve a purpose in LFS.

I definitely like the 3 columns too, would be a big improvement

lfs uses .ogg instead of .mp3. Use the search to find a howto.

Or...you just start Winamp/Foobar/WMP/Whatever in the background and play your music. Does the exact same thing without the hassle.

I don't think the models are much better than LFS's to be honest. The textures are a bit better, especially the headlights. They look better in Race because of the shaders I think. The model itself isn't far of LFS' in terms of detail.
