What can I say, it's a fantastic video, It was a great watch
The whole package is just perfectly done, the images really have that top gear feel to it Definitely wouldn't mind seeing another topspeed episode
Funny how when the changes to car resets were introduced some people were complaining about it and how it should have at least been an option. Now the force cockpit is introduced as an option and people are again complaining.
I'll bet when a better damage model is made people are going to complain as well.
Not sending it through lfsworld first would also mean losing the ability to control and removal of certain skins (skins containing racism, pornograpy, or other offensive content)
The devs have lives too, calm down a bit man. There's more to life than LFS, go outside or something, go do something. But don't go sitting here waiting for a response and kick up the topic everytime, as it will only seem to take longer that way.
Well, it should be possible that way afaik. Just wait till Scawen or Victor sees your topic or send them an email. I'm sure it can and will be solved, no need to worry.
hence the "I think" part of my post.
IMO it's essential because it's the type of racing just about every professional racer has started out in. It's a very pure form of racing and exciting because of that.
I think it would provide some excellent fun racing in LFS (as long as there will be dedicated kart tracks and not driving around Aston in it), and I think it would become very popular.
It has nothing to do with not being able to afford real race cars (not that there's any money involved in racing virtual cars anyway).
Michael Schumacher for example still liked to race karts when he was in F1, and I think we can both agree that he doesn't have any financial difficulties whatsoever.
So, a pretty short sighted response imo.
Use a download manager?
Everytime you go on the internet you resume the download where it left of last time. Bit by bit you reel it in. Sure it will take some time, but you'll get it that way. Assuming you pay by minute online or something (don't know how it is over there but that's the way it was here before the broadband explosion), it won't cost you anything more.
your "proof" falls short. Proof (at least in my view) entails a way to scientifically explain something and then be able to reproduce the outcome. Unless you can tell me what I am thinking at a particular moment without being able to get any clues by body language or facial expression, I don't buy it.
Not entirely sure what you mean but it shouldn't be called Netherland.
The only correct way to refer to our country in English is "The Netherlands".
When you say "Holland", you're actually only referring to the provinces Noord-Holland and Zuid-Holland. The Netherlands is the name for all provinces together, and thus the entire country. The Kingdom of the Netherlands includes the Dutch Antilles. Much like Great Britain for instance. We Dutch often (incorrectly) just call it "Engeland", but that's just one part of the kingdom (I don't think many Scotsmen like to be referred as being English )
So actually the English name is more correct than the Dutch
Not trying to be anal and OT, but I had to say that :P
another bad thing about summer: the people that have been complaining the whole year about the weather being bad and cold complain about it being too hot in the summer.
When it crashes does it give you any error messages or crash address? If so, it might be good to post some screenshots of it. Then Scawen will probably be able to tell where it goes wrong and maybe he can do something about it.
The mods for rFactor are not made by the rFactor devs themselves.
I haven´t seen ayone object to real tracks. Some people just don´t think they´re essential to enjoy the sim fully. So they would welcome them if they would get them, but if they don´t it´s fine as well.
I don't really see what the two have to do with each other. Sure IE is included with XP, but that's all really. For me personally Firefox offers me things that IE can't. But that doesn't mean I shouldn't use the OS it's included with. Because the OS itself suits me just fine and I have no big problems with it. The browser however doesn't suit me.
It's no contradiction really. Compare it with not buying a car you really like just because you don't like the stereo system that comes with it. You get a different stereo system for it.
Sorry but I still don't get your reasoning An OS and a browser are two different things and one's not excluding the other. I can like the OS but not like the browser. The same as I can choose to use a different filemanager than windows explorer. Essentially an OS is just a platform that enables you to run applications on it.
No, because Bugatti and VW's are both cars. IE and XP are not both an OS or browser
But in the end, everyone has different tastes and preferences, so one should just use what one feels comfortable with
