LFS-World's Licensed racers per country list has many countries that have more than 0.3% now and the Countries don't fit into the list anymore.

The garage picture and 3D Garage on the track are 2 completely different thing, the garage on that picture is a edited background not included in LFS.

When you have not played LFS for a while, let's say 2 weeks and take the BF1 and a track with a long straight you'll see what fast means..

Frankwer - torrents are extremely effective when used properly. At better torrent trackers you don't worry if you can get the file or not, you worry if you can seed the while enough.

The Spaniards are right, the "car2airplane" bug is in my opinion one of the greatest bugs in LFS, but when racing you can't notice that very often.
This bug is a real problem only at Autocross Layouts as most of the tracks use solid barriers.

I think the current blue color scheme is VERY neutral, I personally like themes that don't attack your eyes and are light and darkish blue is the best job for that.

Well, you're right, but there still should be a .zip file for "advanced" users, it makes things much, much better.
You can't get a quickly get a spare copy of your dds folder from a self-executable, you have to extract everything first and then delete everything again. Not a major thing tough.

Scawen, what kind of trickery is that!? Why is LFS avaiable only in a self executable format? Bring back .zips

Well, it's quite possible, for a VFR flight the visibility needs to be at least 5 kilometers (1.5 kilometers for a Special VFR flight - military stuff) and the clouds need to be higher than 1500 feet (450 meters). Different conditions are active at night.

I think MS Paint isn't the best for quality. Regargind jpg - no it's not blurry at all, if you don't put it to max compression.

A pretty nice coverage. I don't think he would tell you "It's not realistic at all, it's total disaster." about any sim.

I guess you can still go there when you allow reseting.

May I recommend you Realair products (www.realairsimulations.com) and the DHC Beaver (From the same place as diamond katana)

The planes from realair really are the best modelled props (altough I'd like to see them model some different props) - Gorgeos panel (3D Gauges in FSX) and good flight dynamics (realistic side slipping and spinning)

These planes are modelled realy well, but I don't know if they're your cup of tea.

May I correct you that these are not airports but ARTCC's and FIRs. (Areas, if you noticed, I chose the week where Estonia was first ) I'm sure you can find some challenging airports from those areas. The main problem of both VATSIM and IVAO is that most advanced simmers fly these big metal things - Boeings and Airbuses. I'm not one of them, my favorite airplane is teh De Havilland Canada 2 Beaver Taildragger from 1948.

Sorry for bumping an old thread like this, but I don't want anyone getting wrong information. VATSIM is not mainly for US and IVAO mainly for Europe. VATSIM is mainly for more advanced simmers and IVAO for beginner simmers.


Here are the top 25 CENTER ARTCC/FIR's Week 17 2007, America has some more in the top, but Europe has many controllers, who are only online, say 2 hours a week.
