I don't really like this rule. It should surely be allowed for teams to order their cars to do anything they want. Currently they just need to agree who is let pass before the race and can't use the radio. In that case, 'letting pass' can be interpreted as the driver's idea.

Which made me wonder, is telling a driver not to pass illegal too. Hmm. All this is just too confusing, but then again F1 is ruined anyway so it doesn't make a difference. Like offside in football.

All of this is just ridiculous. There is absolutely no way to ensure that this was a team order. Just because a race engineer said something "in a funny voice" doesn't prove anything. All of this team orders stuff is ridiculous because there really is no way to enforce it. Maybe it was Massa and Alonso agreeing on letting Alonso pass. Maybe they agreed on letting the faster pass.

With the current means there is no way to enforce this rule so I think it should be get rid of. The enforcing is just based on assumptions. All the team orders stuff is just BS.

I usually don't get too involved in games before they are released.

If what you (I ) said is true then it certainly won't be a brilliant game. But of course the GTA series are good too in their own right so it may just as well be a good game, just not in the way that the original game was.

My expectations for the game are low. Mafia 1 was one of the best. They will overdo it with Mafia 2 probably. Flashy graphics, flashy (shooter) gameplay, arcadish driving etc.

Absolutely right - I can't see myself having the right to declare what language other people should use when talking to each other.

The installer of LFS should do the associating automatically, but sometimes it doesn't work (or the user doesn't use the installer, but uses a .zip file). Then you will need to associate it manually like I described. The original poster obviously didn't have it properly associated, because he wanted a .bat file which would allow doubleclicking a .set file and I'm sure he tried the doubleclicking before requesting such a feature.

@Rockclan - this copies the setup file to the LFS setups folder

Right click on a .set file, click properties.
Press the 'Change...' button next to 'Opens with'
Choose LFS from the list, if it is not on the list, click browse and select LFS.exe.
Tick 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file'
Press OK and it will work as you wanted.
