I'm a little more concerned with whether NASCAR will continue to use rain tires on rainy road courses. Anyone has the answer to that?

They hare starting to watcing USAR more than NASCAR anyways.

Regardless of what anyone says NASCAR will remain as American as V8 Supercar will always remain Australian. Even if NASCAR now goes to Mexico and Montreal while V8 goes to Bahrain.

Really nothing to complain about imho. Wish the sprint cup would go to other ventures still

Scott Pruett and Joey Logano had the same problem

NASCAR's inexperience with the rain showed that day, hopefully the same mistake wont occur again....BUT I'll be doing the rain dance at Montreal this year

Personally I'd rather see NASCAR go a little more international and go to Japan Motegi, Rockingham UK, and Eurospeedway.

Unfortunately I have a short deadline for that logo and I dont think I'll be able to learn illustrator in time (although I will get right to work to learning it so I wont need outside help again).

Hi, I need some help on a logo I'm doing

I got the overall design done but unfortunately the image is a little....messy.

I tried and tried but it was a little out of my skill range to bring up the low res image into something sharp and clean

Can someone please sharpen and clean up this image for me? The words are fine, it's the car and the wavy skidmarks that's bothering me

Eh, the only real problem with the treatment of demo users is their noobish mentality sometimes.

If I see a demo user I dont automatically switch my "animosity" mode. But if they (on the track) act like a complete muppet or spam "ZOMG ADD NFS CARS CAUSE DRIFT R0x!" then you can sure bet I will feel justified to respond in an unfriendly way.

I dont bite But I will if your purpose here is to annoy, take advantage or spam

Throughout that entire green flag session not a single NASCAR driver spun out.

In fact, the only car to crash out was Max Papis...PAPIS, a ChampCar/Rolex star. The only major incident was at the end when NASCAR should have called the race cause the entire track was a massive puddle (look at videos of the race. Not even F1 could have raced in that condition).

After a few laps, all, and I mean all of the NASCAR drivers kept their cool, raced cleanly and impressively. Also keep in mind that with a stock car....yes a 100000 ton stock car, in the rain is not easy to drive and most of the drivers there have never even seen a race in the rain.

The NASCAR drivers performed admirably imho. Sure, they got owned by Ambrose, Pruett, Villeneuve, Fellows and Carpentier. But these drivers have raced in the rain before and some of these guys are even better in the rain (JV, Pruett, Fellows).

NASCAR fans and followers. With the Montreal race coming, is NASCAR allowing rain tires on road courses now as standard procedure?

I really want to see another NASCAR rain race and i hope NASCAR doesnt abandon this. (And maybe eventually lead up to Sprint)

I like NASCAR at montreal. I wish sprint cup would go there. But hey, let's have montreal rain again

Don't worry arox, a league surrounding this mod (well edited to fit a lfs car) is in the works and very close to being officially announced. Right now I really need burnsy to update his server to that updated mod.

Thanks electric kar, my English isn't broken at all and I would consider myself fairly well educated. However, I do have a strange Chinese-ish Singapore/American accent. How I got that accent I have no idea, but here in Hawaii I found the tolerance very very low. It came to the point where they pretended they didn't understand me.

Weirdly enough, everyone I talked to in LFS didn't have a problem (they said I sound more American than anything else) and the east coast people didn't really care either. Although some high end side of new York still looked down on me cause of my apparant accent

You guys have never seen korean mmorpg devs. If they want to wait a whole year and they are sure it'll make a difference then more power to them as long as they DO release it and the release will warrant the wait.

Seriously have any of you guys seen other game's development? (those that don't include a fee). 6 months is really nothing in persistent games like LFS.

Most other game devlopers either
1. Call it a day after a certain point (rFactor)
2. Takes literally 1-2 years of delay time for patches and most usually don't warrant the wait time (Korean mmorpgs)
3. Gets a crap load of rushed patches every week that snowballs the games problems (most mmorpgs, combat arms, etc)

Maybe being an mmorpg gamer has made me apathetic to this wait (which is really nothing compared to other games.) Relax, if the patchers start to unwarrant their wait time then you can start to complain. But that was never the case before and there's no real indication that it'll happen with this patch. Just be happy that the devs are working and working hard to give us quality patches. Which is actually a lot more than I can say for most other games.

No cause the dynamics if NASCAR qualifying in very interesting IMO even if it is very difficult to implement.

But if the mistakes can be minimized to be negligable on the oval (or anywhere) then this is really worth it

You must have been soaked tea lol. I also remember the mass exodus after Villeneuve crashed lol. He really still has a lot of fans. He got a lot of Canadians into CASCAR
