put simply, you request ario to join, not lfs, and then airio queues people up and joins them when it can.

And before anyone asks, the reason we don't allow post race crashing is this. Nothing is more annoying than waiting a couple of races to get in (when race full) only for some idiot to crash you off the track, after the first race you've managed to join, and then someone else gets your place. Also many like to practice inbetween races so we like to keep the track clear for them. For some it is their chance to warm up before they start racing.

The point that has been made both here and on our forum is that he has already had a 2nd, 3rd and possibly 4th chance. 30 days (now 35) is not that long considering the grief he has actually caused.

Your question has been answered already, The rules state

1.2 No swearing of any kind.

1.3 No insulting of other people in server.

But as has already been stated and put so well by havoc on our forum

You asked for another admin to comment so I did. Then it appeared that I wasn't good enough for you. I increased your ban because you won't listen to what you are being told it's a thing adults do with children to get them to stop and think a bit.

Now go back and read all three threads (yes there are now 3) from the start to finish and maybe you will get the fact that the person who banned you took all of your incidents into consideration when deciding on a length and not just this one incident when you insulted someone for not avoiding you when you crashed.

Totally agree with that last paragraph. You can learn much more following a faster driver than you can learn by trying to defend against them. It's also fustrating as hell when a slower car aggresively defends and you end up having to hit the brakes hard to not hit them.

I had this the other night. Now I don't claim to be fast and this particular race (SO Long) I was about 2 seconds off the pace of the lead cars and the guy aggresively blocking me was 2 seconds off my pace (taken from fastest lap shown at end of race). It took me about a lap and a half to get passed him because he kept pulling silly moves at corners where I could pass meaning I had to slam on the brakes so we didn't crash. Effectively ruined my race because by the time I got past it was too late to catch up with people at my own pace.

If someone is obviously faster than me I'll stay slightly wider on a corner and let them slip past.

I gotta agree with this even if it does take you away from our server. Generally if you join a server with 10 or less drivers it is a much friendlier and cleaner environment to race in. You'll also get more chance to talk to people, get set ups, advice etc.

In the absence of this is there a way to remove a user from the database so that they have to start from the beginning again? Without editing files.

The problem is at the moment the only longterm punishment that can be handed out is a ban.

Again I don't know if it has been asked before but is there a way of giving point penalties (removing points) and safety rating penalties (lowering it)?

I don't know if this has been asked for before and with the thread already at 35 pages it would take an age to check it all. So sorry if it has been asked before.

As a new admin to a busy server I have struggled a bit to find usernames and type commands etc quickly so would be nice to have a window similar to the LFS Names window that appears when you press N but with added commands like spec, penalty (30/45/dt/sg/cc). Is this possible? Or is it already there and I just haven't found it yet? I have looked.

At the moment it is much easier to kick a badly behaving racer than to spec or give a penalty but I don't like to use kick when the server is full.
