No you didn't. You made a thread about opening race 1 to S2 tracks. It was others that mentioned maybe adding STD cars to race 2. It also had been discussed in this thread.

I too had a similar experience tonight on this server. Some good racing in places but a lot of people not slowing for accidents etc. Sorry admin but I've added another 2 reports to your list tonight.

I now need to stick my Cornish Flag on the TBO's too.

There has been the odd occasion when I have got the "Server Full" message when trying to join race 1.

I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong but with a server limit of 32 and only 20 allowed on the track at a time this leaves 12 people unable to race + those unable to join the server. I understand that not all those 12 will be wanting to race, spectating while eating etc. but it will still be a fair amount of people wanting to race but can't.

I'd also love to be able to race XFG within the cleaner Race 2/3 environment but I do also understand that watering down Race 1 might not be a good thing. I found the CTRA servers while looking for a XFG server that had quite a few racers that wasn't on BL1.

I got in trouble with her indoors last night. I was having so much fun on Race 2 that I kept saying to myself "Just one more race". Thanks to those that helped me have so much fun.

There seem to be 2 ideas running through this thread now.

1. Some sort of merge of race 1 and 2 as the thread title says

and

2. Adding XFG & XRG to race 2


It would be nice if Sam could give his opinion on both ideas.

There are times when race 1 gets full so it would help solve this problem and also it means that race 2 can stay silver and above.

To be fair I think having 3 classes on S3 does just that. I'm currently Silver. Took a long time to get there as I'm not that great (read I suck) and I value my clean racing over getting points.

Since being able to race on race 3 I've found that even though I am still not a great driver (though clean ) I am able to earn points MUCH quicker as I can normally get in the top 3 of GFR just by staying in the race till the end as that is how having 3 classes splits the field. I've got a report that has been "under review" for about the same amount of time, it was reported on 9th November. I guess the admins are just short of time at the moment and we must be patient.

I've had a similar problem with drop outs etc. when everything else internet related seems to be fine. I have found rebooting my router has solved it on most occasions.

If you have a router give it a go next time it happens. I know you said that your internet connection stays stable but it is worth a go.

I have been guilty myself of having the adrenaline flowing but I always keep the insults inside my four walls (I sometimes shout them at the screen but I don't type them in).

I will try not to be so sensitive in the future and remember that some people don't have the ability to just admit their errors as they see it as a sign of weakness when in fact recognising your mistakes and learning from them is a great strength.

I like to ask how much rule 2 is enforced.

I shall lighten up a little and go to the pits during busy times so that I don't get spectated by an after race crasher and then get the depressing "race full" when I try to rejoin.

Can someone tell me the official line on this? Are they tolerated?

I asked someone why earlier and was told to lighten up.

I think it show's a complete disregard to others. Or should I really just lighten up?

What sort of time are you on this server? Whenever I look it's empty. I think once I found 2 on there.

PS am a newbie and am loving the CTRA servers.
