How did you get your Licence at 16? The only way you can do that here in the UK (Which I assume is where you are located, due to the car having an English reg and being RHD) is if you are disabled.
Nice car by the way. I bet it is very quick.
P.S, forget all these videos of starting it up/revving it etc. Be a man and take it out on the roads, and show boy-racers how a real car performs.
I now do something similar with my Car since it got broke in. When the guy bust in, he tried to gain access to my glove box, but I locked it. To get in, he then smashed up with glove box, which resulted in damage to the surrounding dash and trim. It was a very time consuming job to replace all the damaged parts.
Now I just leave the glove box unlocked. No point in locking it if the thief will just smash it up to gain access anyway.
I went to view to Bike after the seller agreed he would be interested in my Scooter. I rode to his House as he was only down the Road. I got there, we spoke for a while and he then started looking over my Scooter. This took him around 30 minutes, as he had a quick ride of it too. After that, he got the NSR out. I had a look at it, and despite it looking slightly tatty in the pictures, it looked much worse in person. I saw past all that though, and mechanical condition was all that mattered to me, so I took it for a spin. I love the riding position and the Engine sounded nice and healthy and pulled strongly, but there were some issues. The first and most major one, was the front end was bouncy as shit. After hitting a bump, the front end would take ages to settle. I could only imagine the shocks were knackered. The other issue was that under heavy acceleration in first and second, the Bikes Transmission would seem to "skip". The best way I could explain it would be that it seemed to lose drive for a split second, then re-gain, then loose drive again etc. etc. I was very disappointed, and didn't go through with the swap. Scary to think that Bike had a recent MOT!
I've recently sent an e-mail to a guy selling this NSR125 below. The pictures are a little pixelated and the description is a little scarce, but I shall try my luck anyway. He wants £500, so I have offered my Scooter as a straight swap.
Apparently the Bike is mint, although he does say it needs a starter relay (£20 on eBay. Is it a big job to fit one??) and the plastics "ain't put together 100%" which sounds worrying.
Either way, I will try my luck as my Scooter is easily worth over £500. I will ask him to send more detailed pictures first though if a swap is what he wants. He lives three hours away so I would hate to travel all that way for nothing!!
EDIT: BALLS! The guy already has a Moped, so he doesn't want mine. I shall be sticking my Bike up for sale tomorrow. I WANT THAT NSR!
As said, there is nothing you can do now that you have opened the case. I would not be surprised if they tell you to bugger off.
Also, you should of not e-mailed them. Instead, you should of put the case back together and sent it off for repair under warranty and hope they wouldn't of spotted your tampering, but now you have messed that up too.
Edit: @ Jamie. I just noticed you said you would threaten them with a small claims court hearing? While I realize that it would most likely remain a superficial threat and not something you would actually do, threatening them would make no difference to there decision to repair your console or not. I'm no lawyer either, but I'm pretty sure Xbox (Or the Repairing company) could easily dispute the case by saying you opened the Xbox, so could of taken out the screws to try and scam them for a new (Or refurbished...whatever) Xbox. Either way, it would not stand up in court.
I've only had it 7 months or so, and already it's starting to act up. The Touchscreen sometimes thinks I pressed something 10 times when I have only pressed it once, so texting can sometimes be a nightmare. Other times, it will turn itself off.
I'm not impressed with it at all, so I will get a new one in the Summer. I will most likely get a Sony-Ericsson.
That's nothing to worry about. If you look at the sidewall of the tyre, it sticks out quite a bit from the rim of the wheel. That is extra rubber, and it is there to reduce damage to the wheels if they get curbed. That ammount of damage to his sidewall is nothing to worry about. He still has a few CM to go before it cut through the tyre.
Correct. Wonder Wheels is Acidic, and if you try and dilute it, it doesn't do anything to the wheels. In short, Wonder Wheels is crap. Bilberry is one of the best.
@ Ian. Great job on your Car. Looks lovely. As said above, the wheels could do with some more work. Is that permanent damage? MV2's are well known to suffer from brake dust corrosion quite easily.
Which is exactly my point. In the UK, you have to go through a lot of procedures to avoid getting points on your Licence if you weren't driving the car. You wouldn't have a hope in hell of avoiding points if you turned around to the prosicutors and said "I wasn't driving, so screw your points. Nar nar."
Are the Police in Holland really that retarded? In the UK, you get points and a fine sent to the Registered owner. If there was someone else driving at the time, you have to dispute the driving charge.
I have travelled to Ireland with my Girlfriend and Dad. We are spending our time here with my Dads Girlfriend and her Family, and will be here until January the 4th. It's been fun so far, and the Christmas Dinner should be good as my Dads partner has a large Family. New Years Eve will be the best though. Bring on drunken dancing!
Your Scooter, like 95% of other Scooters in the world, should have a kick start for this exact type of situation. Just simply turn the key into the ignition stage, then kick start the Scooter while holding the throttle open slightly.
Anyway, as for the snow....My town is still in about 10 inches of the stuff. My Car didn't have a chance for the first few days due to it being a RWD, 2 tonne barge, so I had to borrow my friends Micra, which went through the snow greatly. Luckily, the Snow thawed out enough for me to use my own car to get to Ireland for Christmas like I planned. The drive here was pretty uneventful as the Motorways have been treated. Ireland was, and still is a PITA though. I just about made it here, and my Car is staying put until the Snow thaws a bit.
Try looking online for some tips on how to take photos correctly Luke. Your settings are completely wrong at the moment.
Anyway, here is a Paint Job I made for the new Sierra Cosworth that was recently added into the game. You can download it from my Storefront for free. Search for "cossieburn".
Bah. I'm trying to Download some pictures I took, but the "My forza" page is not loading correctly in Opera, nor IE. Anyone else having this problem?
Oh, and don't forget guys. The new pack is coming out Tomorrow!

I took my missile out for a drift session earlier today. The car ran really well, although the rear end is a little unstable. I should get that looked at.
The Imprezas sound does change when modifying them in FM3. The older ones have the burble from the factory, just like they should. However, the newer ones in FM3 sound very tame when stock, but the burble comes back when you fit a racing exhaust system as un-equal manifolds are fitted. Or, you can swap a EJ20 Redtop into them.
Could you upload a quick video showing the sound of a standard 22b/'05 STi?
