Well maybe that is actually a good thing Maybe it'll cause people to learn to blame themselves more instead of always pointing the finger at the other person. As of now, it seems it is always someone elses fault for a wreck.
I think people are just wondering why a demo racer would get worked up over an LX8, when the LX4 and 6 arent even available to a demo racer. If there is any hint of a 'crack' user then the flames go up quite quickly!
Oh, and this is still an available image soo hmmmm
Probably the chair. I bought myself a new computer chair a few months ago and I would get pains in my back while getting used to it. My old chair kept me in a leaned back position and this new one keeps me upright so it took awhile to get used to.
I've been in college since 2003 and will graduate next May with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. In the mean time I've been working at UPS since April '07, and in fact today was my last day there :-) Very glad to be out of there as I worked the preload shift (4AM-9AM) and during this peak holiday seasion I've been having to wake up at 2:30AM to get to work by 3:30.
I also work for a small local business called Marquardt Ironworks where I am the lead draftsmen working on AutoCAD to design iron fences, gates, hand rails, ect.
Oh well, let the cheaters upload their hotlaps. They will only be found by Victor, deleted, and banned from uploading hotlaps ever again. Good penalty I think.
But there is a limit as to how real LFS can get. After all we are all still sitting in front of a flat computer screen. For the "realism freaks", go out and do some real racing at a real track if you need it to be that real.
:ashamed: That is just embarrasing. Some days I really am ashamed to be living in the same country as some of these people.:sadbananaThe world does not revolve around America clipto. Please understand that before you continue with your life.
I don't think chase cam will ever be removed. From a developer's point of view, I can't see how one would all of the sudden decide to force a large portion of the community to change their style of playing. I'd be willing to bet the majority of the 'aliens' use cockpit view. If chase cam has so many advantages then why aren't they topping the leaderboards?
I love LFS as much as anyone here and enjoy playing it all the time. There is no need to take the joy out of the game by forcing options such as camera views. Some of us just grew up with racing games using chase view all the time. It'd be like forcing you to sign your name with your opposite hand all the time.
http://192.168.0.1/ is the usual link to login to your linksys router. If your login and pass are still on default, then the login is blank and the password is 'admin' . This logs you into your router where you can set the SSID, encryption, and passphrase (AKA WEP password) you're looking for.
On the Administration tab, you can change the Gateway Password, which is what you entered as 'admin' earlier in the login window. Though if you or your mom tend to lose important details, you might not want to change it
Seeing how I just set up my router yesterday, I can also say that WPA-PSK is the way to go. It is also smart to set your own SSID instead of using the default. And to also change the default password 'admin' to gain login access to your router. Router's are not that complicated, and anyone dumb enough to have an unsecured connection just shouldn't even have a computer.
Also some things in there about "RBRTestPlugin.pdb" This is something extra you downloaded right? Did the game crash when it was just a clean install before you did any add-ons?
That isn't the case for me. I use the mouse for steering, braking, and throttle. In the past versions, I was able to select 'wheel/js' option in controls, and it would let me assign MouseX and MouseY for the appropriate controls. In this test patch I can still do that much, but afterwards nothing happens, like the axis I just assigned were completely ignored.
The curved steering graphic at the bottom of the screen that shows the movement of the steering does not move with my mouse, and the throttle and brake do not get applied. This is all happening inside the options menu, and also takes place while in a car.
Here you go. It gave me errors on three XRG setups at the end, so you might be missing some. But for majority are there, and the few you are missing you can just easily rename yourself.
I redownloaded the entire Inferno setups to try again. Worked perfect this time. Nice work, certainly beats all three of the renaming applications I downloaded to try out.
It is definitely the 'XRG' letters that didn't transfer for me. I finally recongized one of my own setups. Not a big deal for just one car to rename ;-) I can do that manually in a few minutes. Thanks for this script, made it lots easier!
Well I can tell you the ones it did work for.

And I believe I did not have any setups for the Sauber to begin with.
So that leaves the new BMW...hmm...seems all were acccounted for but for some reason some setups just didn't transfer.
Nevermind...XRG is missing. Maybe thats the one with the trouble then.
