So how is the preparation going for your run? Are you confident to beat the goal you set yourself?

Last weekend i came close to my biggest success in running almost winning a 5 km city run in a town a nearby (finished 2nd). That result also meant i took the lead in my age class (20-30) in a running cup, where you get points for every run, organized by a local running store, here in south lower saxony, which consists of 19 runs, already missed 4 though ...but everyone else did, too. I also brought my PB down to 18:11, i think i can bring it down to 17:30-18:00 in the next weeks.
2 weeks to go to the big historical city run of my town, my big big highlight. Now i am very motivated and confident that i can get a good finish, maybe Top 20 (out of ~1200) which would be a great success for me.

and about the push, we cant complain if the referee sees that. But at every corner and free kick the players are pushing and holding more then in that situation.

So i am not the only one who realised again yesterday that Ronaldo is a big actor!? If you have looked into his face while falling, then on the ground looking to the referee, then realising it might give no yellow for Friedrich, then his face got into pain and he starts holding his feet, the referee thinks "oh that foul must have been worse if he is holding his feet like that". Finally the referee gives the yellow...
Soo great ... unfortunately a lot footballers think they need such dirty tricks...
His football talent is undisputed though.

I am a statistic and analysing freak as well, unfortunately i cant afford such a thing at the moment

When i got an altimeter for my bicycle 8 years ago, that really motivated me in cycle training

Here a picture of my best run this year. Einbecker-Beer-Run (5,1 k) which i finished 14th out of ~250



My main goal for this year is the historic city run (5,25k) of my city which i want to finish Top30 and well below 20 mins. ...and next year beat my PB again at the Berlin Marathon ..anyone has a good setup?

This project came from SimFiA where I would use forum signatures to show the current standings for both the drivers and constructors world championship. I have done the same here, but this time with real F1 results. Some one could take this and change it so that it would read for there LFS Championship. I don't think much would need to be changed. All of the CSV files are fairly straight forward, I'll add a constructors image also soon. (With that tho, the 2008.png file will change to 2008Drivers.png.

I have to say that always looked pretty cool to see the league standings in SimFIA:F1 on this way

Best BF1 league out there, 20 drivers in race 6 lap past, still erveryne in race ...hope it stays so untill the end.

From the view on the remote there was a big incident involving numerous top drivers in T1.
Some are going strong again. And i am sure that Stormy can still reach the podium!

Hey Dan, i basically had the same problem (distance, rented apartment, low signal) and didnt knew anything about this power-line networking. I didnt experienced any disadvantages in my daily internet life which it. In fact my connection was better as with my wireless adapter. As i had some issues before. If i would have known of this before, i would have used that in my old apartment as well instead of having a looooooooooooooong cable in the whole apartment

6-7 years of running, not regulary, a kind of light body structure. Ilost 10 kg since the beginning, coming from 90kg. I dont drink nor smoke. Meh...i have a boring life ... When i started go running, my times over 5km were quite the same as yours

Well i just came home. Its about 19min 30secs . This year but it was a bit different "track" a little longer then last year is my guess. It felt good it was a bit cold 7°C, cloudy and high humidity.
I started a bit to fast and at about 2 km i started to get slower and slower and the first women have overtaken me.
Well short before the stadium i thought we will run straight into the finish. So i started to get faster and sprint, just to realise that we are doing , instead of the last years in the other stadium, another lap on the banking of the cycling track. That totally broke me
Well never start to fast

But all in all it was a good morning workout ... i am motivated to do some runs this year

I am about to start to my first official run (5km) since 1 year ago . It starts at 10:00 cet ... i am a bit nervous as i dont know where i am standing ...last year i did a 19min01s ...i feel better this year but dont think i can reach that time ... i am happy when i get under 20:00

They definately have some problems in cycling atm. Not only the doping problem also the whole structure and the fight between ASO and UCI.
The problem in germany is even worse where most of the bigger races get cancelled or are about to get cancelled. For example the "Lotto-Tour" (Niedersachsenrundfahrt) which used to finish in my town and was really popular got cancelled . Cyclist like Alessandro Petacchi used to cycle here...now they are riding in turkey :/
I hope in the future they are trying to control and punish harder as they do now, even though cyclist get controlled way more often then 99% of other pro athletes.

Next week the "Tour of Georgia" is taking place an the 4th stage an ITT is taking place on the race track of "Road Atlanta" looking forward to watch that on Cycling.tv

well sounds good, depends on the place and the people who are coming (already see some nice guys interested ). But there are a lot of "depends" and "ifs" on my side yet. Saturday in july sounds good though

I have to fill the tank a bit more then 1 time for the way to nurburgring and back (same for Karslruhe or Mannheim), that would be affordable if there are others from my region who'd go there, i'll have to propose that to my team.

If you can afford a G25 then i would go for it. Otherwise i would take a Logitech DFP or Momo Enjoy the simracing!
