And again in this thread! Merry christmas to everyone involved in LFS Development. Scawen, Eric, Victor, Geraldine and Leo!
Take your deserved rest over the holidays and the time after!!!
Basically i saw Vykos69 aka "Jo Fiess" on television at GIGA showing the new S2 Alpha and explaining all the features and presenting a live league race with players in the studio. Was impressed of the event and everything around that game. Basically i dont think people could have presented lfs much better then Vykos. This show was just awesome from him. Must be something in July 2005 when i saw it or June....dont remember I bought it straight away., without playing the demo once
A long and succesfull year for FPR comes to an end. It was a great year of racing for us. In a lot different leagues we had some great battles and met a lot nice and friendly drivers on track. We hope to have a next year which is as good as this in LFS. Probably we will finish this year with the OWRL-Christmas-CUP whatever it will be this year.
We wish everyone some happy christmas day and a good way into the new year !

The MoE 24h-Race is on 19th of january and its not that much time untill febuary anyway, maybe a date later in the year would be better for that, to have enough time in front to make everything clear and well organised and make this a massive event!
The last years the german community organized the community 24h races. But this time there isnt really a planning commision for the next year yet. Noone really wants to do the lead admin. So maybe there can be some cooperation and help. I will post about your thread in the german community and lets see if they some come here.
The last two 24hour races were definately by far my best experience in my lfs-time.
I would definately up to help if there is a 24hour event going to happen next year. Either as server admin, live-judge, in rules and event-planning commision or wherever you need manpower.
Personally i would go for 3 classes again and for a community race i wouldnt use a killer track like fe4, because skill in the community divers and not just the "pros" like in MoE.
I would throw in a Aston config tbh, especially in a multi-class community race. Ah yeah and stay with one track for all servers so you have 1 result.
There is already a list in the german forum what would be needed to plan such an event. Its not complete, but i'll translate and quote it.
Just a several days after the joining of TimmeR we can announce that the next former |DM|-Driver will join our team. It is Enrixo (Enrixo) who will now drive as FPR|Enrixo#46. With Enrixo we now have 2 drivers in the team who already won the OWRL Division B in the FOX-Class (Season 5 FPR|Steve#1 ; Season 8 FPR|Enrixo#46). He will not only strengthen our lineup in the OWRL he also brings some more experience in 12h- and 24h-Races into the team.
After 8 month in which our team of 14 members manifested as a community we can finally announce a new member to our team which now consists of 15 members.
Some of you will know our new driver as |DM|TimmeR. After the sad disappearence of |DM|, TimmeR (TIMMER NRW) will now join our team and will drive as FPR|TimmeR.In a lot of races especially in the OWRL he has often showed our members how fast he is. We are glad to have such a nice and fast driver in our team.
We hope we can welcome him as a new full-member after the 2-week trial-time.

Would be cool to see a indepth report and test about the new patch when its out.
With all up- and downsides. With all good new things and those things long year simracers still wish to be implemented.
