I waited for about 20 minutes before I asked where it was, his reply was 'the server is closed for some time'. For some time? or to waste my time?

Woah, nice find Jason. I tried a sunroof months ago but had no success, ended out using an image of reflection on glass to make my skin. You have given me a fresh insight into how I can achieve this. Nice work! 
Because it wasn't intended for wrecking? Was fs2000 intended for terrorists to practice flying into buildings? No, so its still a flight simulator. What it's used for is people choice, the fact is its still a simulator. Destruction Derby was made with the intention of wrecking. Another thing is... since when was Rally Cross for pit-maneuvers? I though it was for Rally style races?
And I thought most of us had established it was not the best? Really, there are faster, more simple programs that are much more functional. Most of them are free, the one's that are not can be found on a shelf at WHSmiths, and those are all the pretty one's that don't work very well.

Congratulations, I am a dad, worried about the same problem. Once you have a kid everything changes. You will be able without thinking, its an instinct that kicks in very quickly.... just shortly after 2 bottles of whiskey and night of crapping yourself. Kids are only annoying if you let them be annoying. If your smart they annoy them self's. A playstation fixes most bored Sunday afternoons and really, having nothing to do is what makes them annoying. I couldn't live without mine.

I often speak my mind too, it's something that can't be helped. Tact is not my best asset either. You were a little sharp tho. I have got to agree, your getting a lot of attention from many, one person started... then the band wagon past by... they all jump on. so far its all "a license got stolen" and "go talk to dev's"..... more to the point, if you dont use GOOD security its your own fault. As for being hard to hack msn? its only as hard as your password. Sort it out, get a firewall. Not that many people know about LFS anyway, I shouldn't think the account is being used.

The pair of you have selfish attitudes about something you didn't HAVE to do or see. Like I have said before, I dont like cruises but at the end of the day, thats why I didn't join them. They have a right to host as much as anyone else dont they? I have not seen a cruiser yet who has said "glad that host closed, I hate racers"

OK, I have no quick answer at the moment, it could be worth trying a reduced frame rate, 25 FPS would probably be the lowest I would try as it matched television (PAL) and should be smooth enough, less frames means less to change.
Its a theory. At the moment you get a dent and your computer is making the changes while trying to display them 100 times in a second, not a lot of work for a computer but still, its quite fast, less frames would be less work.

I would of thought if the correct wheel is spinning then it would show a speed. Last time I replaced a speedo cable it was a little like this
Speedo attached to speedo cable, speedo cable attached to speedo drive and speedo drive attached to one hub/wheel. So if that one wheel turns the speedo would show a speed. Am I correct?
If your engine is not running it doesn't mean your wheel isn't turning. I have noticed tho, with the ignition off and the car in gear, it rolls like its not in gear. Is it simulated as having the clutch down when the engine is off?

I can see how it would get annoying, some people would probably talk too much. I can't knock it too hard myself as I have not tried it. At some point I guess there would also be some fool trying to provide unwanted entertainment by placing the mic next to his speakers. Could be more helpful to be able to mute chosen users?
Yes, its been a focal point on this thread I believe. Only thing you can do is remind them that its a crashing host and tell them if they are not happy about it they should use another host. I often get these users, I ask them to read my welcome again.

I can see now, it was just an excuse, the smoking continues, I know for a fact my Rollie ends do not have an orange filter and I don't flick them out of a bedroom window onto the garden. Yes, they hide it. I don't support them smoking, and I know which one smokes thank god, but better smoking than getting up to some of the things I see other kids doing.
My parent's expressed no views over drugs, for some reason, I dabbled a couple of times but the appeal was never that great, I guess I got the curiosity out of the way. It could be because they didn't sit about telling me "don't do this and don't do that". I fear kids making mistakes I have made and others around me have made, I think its what parents do.
I don't think they blame me for anything, or I would hope not, if they do I am sure they will reason with it at some point in there lives. All I can do is be the best parent I know how to be, even if it involves popping my head up every five seconds to see if its them walking past the window and arriving home safely. People say kids make your hair go gray, its not the kids, its the rest of the world and it can stop you sleeping at nights. Do I worry too much?

OK, it may seem like a bit of a "go slow" but I am now working on a Destruction Derby style figure 8 layout with mid are collisions possible. In design I have realized that the idea is not just good but possibly just short of genius! Introducing ramps instantly solves issues of "wrong way" driving, even though in some games you would want to have a head to head collision, I think I would prefer keeping total destruction a little more challenging.
Tim, I hope this layout will be complete tonight, making it is easyish, accuracy is more of a difficulty.
