With most hardware it's possible to change the settings so that a device can bring your computer out of a sleep state, maybe you should check to see if this is available for your controller/port. I can't remember how this is set but I do know its possible with XP and probably Vista too. I guess I never gave Vista enough time to find out, I think its c#@$ and that is me being nice about it.
The best advice I could really offer though is delete Vista and install XP..... or even better Ubuntu!
It had to be said, one of my computers came with Vista and Vista got filed in the big round file(Bin), Ubuntu got installed.
I had a problem like that, my headphones used to pickup the neighbor's home CB Radio, sometimes it would even record some of the broadcast onto cassette without being on record, even if the protection tabs were removed. Never could explain it.
This is true, the idea is to remain undetected. As far as I remember, the only people who boast to be hackers are complete liars..... Did I mention I'm a hacker and I'm going to hack anyone of you who called me a fake? Sorry, had to be said!
ColeusRattus must be lookin real hard for the next one......
:tired: Actually, I was starting to enjoy the challenge and now I'm just getting bored! Am I the only demo player who's using this forum? I feel so alone and it feels kinda lame being the only one who can't have an avatar or signature. When I'm not so skint I will buy S2, just have another.... /me counts... 30 years of saving to do!
I can tell you it was taken with a Canon PowerShot A540, Aperture F5.5 on the 18/01/2008, shutter speed 1/7.... blah blah. I can't tell you what the car is! It could be a matchbox or hotwheels for all i can tell.
Looked at it 100 or more times and I think I know what it is.... is it a car?
OK seriously, I'm stuck, I could guess at Nissan/Datsun or an old toyota.
However, there is something that seems American about it, am I getting closer? The mirrors on stems and chrome could suggest anything around 1960's - 1970's and the indicators are very distinctive! with the body shape I would say closer to 70's
Well thanks for the support, im well on my way to being fully fit, thankfully I only sprung my collar bone. Im awaiting a small procedure which should be simple, my speed was low (town riding) so it hurt my pride more than it hurt me. This is not my first accident. The score is:
Road 3 - Me 0
When it comes to twin's im a big fan, there is nothing like holding the front down in 2nd..... and 3rd.... and so on....
Btw, like the cati, it was once a dream of mine, for some reason I gave that dream away for a cbr.... MAD I WAS!!!
I think the burning question is where did we all start off? My first was a chicken chaser (a something scooter) when I was 16, cg125 and nsr at 17 and at about 20 was the first cbr(restricted) and then un-restricted. The vtr was a shocker when I first hopped on, now I know what to expect of it. I have enjoyed working my way through bikes and oh how I have worked through them!
This has been a summer for car's and im not so disapointed about the bike being off the road, its been a good chance to crank up the volume and put the heaters on.
Now that I have looked into it, i believe you are 100% correct. I worked for skoda for a couple of years, when I started I was given the usual hand book and welcome pack that comes with employment. I have flicked through the "history of skoda" section to find a picture of the 1000 MB and its spot on. I was barking up the wrong tree when talking about the special addition as it did not have a recessed headlight, and as for the 440, its the wrong shape! Bad memory and lack of attention only comes with old age.. and having kids, or maybe its just having kids!
by the time I had looked it up you had already found a photo, well done!
Well this is what I used to ride, until last year. My Doctor advised me on the dangers of riding a motorcycle, three weeks later he ironically crashed into me in his nice shiny Audi. I don't ride at the moment but I am re-building this bike, I hope it will be ready for next summer.
I'll have a guess at a skoda. Don't ask what inspired me to think that. The only other I could think of is an MG? You picked a good one, the picture holds no clue!
Ok, I can understand that. I still think that Blas has made a very useful contribution to this forum as I found "the big detailed thread on set ... nfiguration section" to be so long winded that I'm sure I could retire before getting to the end of it. I can except your point and have no problems with what you have said. I didn't at any point feel offended either. I feel that some of the forum users (not yourself) need to be a little more supportive and open minded to others assistance, opinions and ideas. It only takes one rotten apple, and this time s1m0n was the rotten apple.
And Blas89, don't get put off by anyone, as much as I don't need this guide/tutorial/set of notes/whatever else, I thought it was very helpful and thoughtful.
I know a little bit about exploits. Firstly, he would have to find your computer, he would need to obtain your ip address for that. Secondly, more people claim to be hackers than know what a hacker is, look it up some time. He actually meant to say he's a script kiddy who knows the basics of trojans and how to open a back door, I suspect this is highly unlikley. He would require a program like NetBus, SubSe7en or BackOrifice. If he is a "hacker" or "h4x0r" ask him what colour his hat is? If he doesn't say its red he's full of bulsh.
Btw, the true meaning of hacker is "a clever programmer"
Whats not tutorial about it? It explains how to setup a dedicated server, its clear and simple, its punctual. Its the facts, how to set up a dedicated server without a load of babble about each process. Its what people need, clear, punctual and no BS. All I said was don't knock progress! I'll admit to be a FULL tutorial it would have to go into setting up other functions on a dedi host... but where does it end? should it include the in's and out's of scripting for LFS too?
Did I read it as what it is? "LFS DEDI HOST Configuration: Quick Tutorial" Ronseal, does what it says on the tin. My point is it says "Configuration: Quick Tutorial" and not "YOUR COMPLETE GUIDE TO RUNNING A HOST"
Sorry if your offended but I will stand up for people, It clearly says on the TITLE what the tutorial is about. I am just sorry some people don't take time to read it properly.
S1m0n, I didn't see your guide to a dedicated server, did anyone else? I think its good of someone to take some time to explain things for others. Yes the English wasn't great but I'm English and mine's not much better I believe pps is something to do with packets per second?
Blas89, thank you for giving up a little of your time for the rest of the world. and anything else positive.
